This man needs way more recognition for the quality of his craft that he puts out for us to enjoy. Keep the videos rolling Jay, you’ll be at 100,000 Subscribers by the end of the ice season I guarantee it
It’s our hidden secret. Glad you discovered it. Watched you guys filming this from my home! Wondered who it was cuz it’s rare to have people in front of our place! You guys were so focused on the fishing...you missed us hot tubbing-naked!
At 9:36 I like just how Canadian there being ice fishing and talking about there favourite poutine!🇨🇦
I paused the video at 0:43 to write this and I just wanna say that I love this type of intro!
I thought I was the only one to put fish on a stringer while ice fishing.
Pro tip: bleed your fish out and send them back into the water 20 minutes before you’re ready to clean them. Makes it much cleaning to fillet and the meat comes out a lot whiter. I do the same in open water season
Creekside Creations I always try bleed the fish too, I notice a lot of people don’t.
EPIC video JAY!!!! EPIC! You capture the excitement!! I don't know how many times I get talking with my buddies and not watching the "ducer or the dead stick and there is action! You have shown that many times in your other vid's!! Thanks for sharing!!
Another awesome upload Jay!I learn so much watching you!!
literally fishing in sight of my cabin, good to know im in the right spot
That flasher cam footage makes me wanna drop studying and go fishing
Wicked culinary delights That sounds like an amazing dish wow
Another great video Jay 😎thanks for sharing!!
I have said it before and I will say it again....you do sir make the best videos.
it's amazing to watch the fish on the sonar/flasher. This past winter i bought the Helix 7 and i bet half the fish i caught were because i was able to see a fish and i could work it. Amazing tool!!
Once again an awesome video. I'm new to ice fishing and absolutely love it. I love the excitement you have on every video you do. Also glad to see you reel with your right hand, I take a ribbing from my friends. Great size fish, thanks very much for sharing. Tight lines
With sweet CHILLI SAUCE!
oh and PRIME TIME!!
Clayton Schick Outdoors Can’t beat the Sweet Chilli Sauce!
Dam that is some amazing looking food! And some beautiful walleyes!!👍👍
That looks damn tasty!!! I need more walleye in my life, we have none in Europe :(
Great video jay. Josh is always cooking up something amazing and making me hungry 👌 cant wait to get out there and put to use the dinner bells I just got in
Oh my GAHD. That double by Jay -- that was NUTS! Super duper awesome content Jay, thank you!
Awesome video Jay, Twin Lakes Beach always yields results!
Lol you shoulda given me a call seeing as you were basically fishing in my backyard!
Great video buddy! What a unreal average size of walleyes caught!
It would be super awesome if you shared that recipe in a video haha great content keep up the awesome work
sick video man! can't go wrong with those won-ton bites! I find it amazing what you guys can access within small distances!
Unreal video Jay, entertained to the max lol
Those dinner bell spoons are a hit Im gonna have to get me some of those great vid
Love the colours!
Awesome video jay 🔥
vraiment cool , et la formule bouffe sur la glace , un must ! merci !
Loving these videos!
So much fun!
That's a great idea for the stringer through the ice
Stuck inside at -28 ... all I need to do is tune into jay and I feel like I’m there. ....thanks for all the effort in great videos
Thoes medium Frostbit Dinner Bell work amazing.
Satisfying fishing and creative cooking! Great job! From quebec, feels weird to see poutine taking over the world. Only a couple years ago people from outside quebec were making weird faces when I told them about this meal.
This is what dreams are made of!
Those are some big walleye! 👍🔥
Right on!!
Nice job Jay
best fishing youtube channel out right now. Only because Uncut doesn't upload much though, gotta love him.
Man! Can't wait to start ice fishing
Great video! I’d love to slam some walleye. Can’t wait for some good ice! I might just have to plan a trip
Great video as always! Next time i hit my cabin it’s going to be looking like lockport tho😔
The little Michigan lake I live on is 60ft deep. I wish it was 15ft! great video guys
Wow that slide at 4:40 was beautiful
loved the classical jam while you guys ate wontons :)
Jesus would be the only one able to be walking on the lakes here in southern Ontario, You guys are so lucky! Always nice when you hang in for the long haul and manage to score big instead of a skunk. Great video Jay!
Awesome!
Good job guys I like ice fishing I wanna go K some walleye to
Love the cooking
Nice catching, nice split screen views👊👊☝️
You do such a great job with cinematic videography. Any tutorial videos down the road?
🤙🏼
I gotta comment again. that is a genius recipe; for real, very smart. Gotta get me some sea trout now! wish I had a trigger fish, damnitt.
Watching at work👌🤟
Happy Thanksgiving guys!
Manitoba is a bucket list place to fish
Nate Murdock Cmon up! I’m a licensed guide and would be happy to show you around!
I love catching some drywall peepers (walleye)
Happy Thanksgiving!
This reminds me of Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin! That was some crazy action you guys had!!
Wow!
Happy Thanksgiving Canada!
Growing up we had a cabin on the North basin and loved it but unfortunately it gets commercial fished hard.
where'd you get the dinner bell spoons
Nobody.
Jay.
I slept with Marcel-it was nice😂
I'm so torn between being jealous of that ice or not. It's been very mild in southern Ontario for the last week and a bit. 5-8 degrees, no ice in sight but that also means I still have time to get out in the kayak! I am looking forward to getting some hardwater fishing in though
I'm in Ottawa and in the same.... boat...
Except not really because I winterized everything :(
What oil did you use to deep fry the wantons?
I'm doing that! not cold fishing. The recipeeee!!!
There is already enough ice up there for trucks?
What kind of mic you use jay?
Nice video Jay 👍. Not a lot of walleye fishing where I'm at but it looks like a lot of fun
Killed it last year in sugar point lots of 20-24 inchers
Two things! One - do you have trouble with the braid freezing when outside? Two - where can we get that recipe? We'd LOVE to tray that!
Does anyone know where to get the dinner bell spoons
Where abouts were you guys walking out
Where can I find the Ice Fish MB hat?
How far of a drive is it from kenora to lake Manitoba? Is it something you can do in a day. Do you also have to get a Manitoba fishing license or is your Ontario good?
Jays moving on up with that Yeti sponsorship. In every video for the last few there has been a strategically places yeti cooler or other objects in the background with the logo very visible.
lol bet you someone will be pissed.. #Secretspot hahaha
Also, i made my 1st fish finder setup out of the same ammo box as marcel, buy the Garmin bundle man, you'll love it! it's worth the money *edit* Just saw he had a hummingbird, I'm sure they make something too
Guess who's making walleye wontons tonight !!!!
How do you get into the south basin?Route?
Once you understand the flasher its the best,
Great vid Jay! What reels are you using and size? Just ordered a True Grit and need to pair it up!
Look like shimano 500s that’s what I run $100 well spent
Nvm those are Pflueger patriarchs
Yummmmmmmmmmm
Damn Jay, you’re boujee with that Yeti bucket haha
How much does a Yeti bucket cost???
@@joshrogers358 $40 rip off
Walleyes 'a' plenty.
Hey Jay. Do you know if you’re able to drive onto Lake Manitoba south basin or is it walk on access only?
Hey Scott, not sure. I think there trucks out there. Always use extreme caution when driving on the ice.
Was at Delta today from 8am to 1pm was very slow ice is at 25" in most places
Hey guys i'm just getting into ice fishing and am looking at buying a flasher. Can anyone help me out and give me advice on a good one, not too expensive or fancy as i'm just a beginner. Thanks!
Is it legal to cook/ eat fish on the lake, I remember seeing a video, guy got charged for cleaning consuming a fish lunch on ice. That could have been in the states but just thought I would ask. Awesome vid though!
You can cook on the ice, it is important to clean up and bring back any scraps.
Nice! If I wasn't 17 hours drive from the poo, i'de join ya.
👊
Can someone explain the color wheel that marks bites?
What u see. When there showing the flasher as it is called you have the top. Then the bottom. Anything inbetween is either your jig/ baitfish/fish the bigger the line and more color means strong signal or big fish
@@lundprov4344 I still dont know you've explained it in a very confusing way and all I can interpret is the middle is your bait but I still dont know how they can tell when there is a fish
I am not getting notifications for any of the outdoor channels I sub to, it’s not even showing up in my subscription tab. Anyone else have that going on?
Ever poop in one of them ice holes?
oooooh
It's funny how many people stop fishing at dark. I do 80% of my walleye fishing after dark.
Scott I’ve never caught a Walleye, but I liked your comment because Happy Thanksgiving.
@@mr.happyfunguy3772 Happy Thanksgiving. Walleye are actually the easiest fish to catch in our waters. I have a trophy fishery six miles from my house. I am very thankful for that.
Slam bang fishing lodge your home on the west coast of Vancouver Island check it out
Who else noticed when Jay says something about the fish. They copy what he says, like "chunky monkey" "chunky monkey" lol
Dig the string music.
The deepest is actually 25 feet
