Touch Of Earth - Why Did You Do It

Obscure and hitherto undocumented 1981 UK remake of Stretch's classic floor-filler. Adding a compelling synth riff to the mix plus upping the tempo, this is likely to ignite dancefloors, and could certainly benefit from wider exposure on the disco / boogie scene.
Amazingly it might just be ... funkier than the original? Controversial ... !
The record was issued on the B & W label via Ellie Jay, a 'custom pressing' service which enabled unsigned artists to manufacture records. It's therefore likely that only small numbers of this 45 were originally issued.
