Thank you very much for uploading this video!Unfortunately, there aren't many videos of the final wake up period, and extubation after surgery, although I'm very interested in the whole anesthesia procedure, starting from induction, through keeping up the depth of anesthesia during surgery and waking up the patients at the end.If you have more videos like this one, please upload them!I would be very grateful!!Thank you,and greetings from Hungary!
Ive been intubated before and feeing them put it in and lift up my vocal cords was terrible and taking it out was scary bc i blacked out then all of a sudden was breathing
I agree, I have severe asthma and have had to be intubated for it numerous times. A lot of people say it is hell to wake up and have to stay intubated while awake but I don't find it that way, I just let the ventilator breathe for me. A lot of people make the mistake of trying to breathe against the ventilator when all you have to do is nothing really and let it do it for you (what it is designed to do). This past time about a month ago, I had one of my worst asthma attacks yet. They had me knocked out for 3 days and then awake while intubated for 4 more days. It truly didn't bother me having the tube in, its like you said when they are taking it out its hell.

Does everyone experiences gag reflex during extubation?
Actually around 10% of the population don’t have a gag reflex!
Que impresión cuando tiembla
No sound
I remember when I was inturbated after being in seizures that wouldn't stop and the taking out the tube was the worst part.

I think the whole intubation thing is hell, not to mention degrading. Never never again if I can help it. No more surgeries. 😢😔😔☹️☹️☹️
