I always was enraptured in the interesting relationship of holly and leaves. Lonely ghost people in a strange limbo where they aren’t aware of their condition breaks my heart. This animatic was a wonderful addition to the current content out there for these two. Very powerful and soft. Composition was done excellent, got the idea across and you made great use of the few drawings made for this. Love this a lot, instant subscription from me.

Hollyleaf reminds me of my own black cat, Meredith. A small, feisty and sleek lady who preferred men, I adopted her after finding her at a shelter and owned her for four years until two months ago. Our (former) roommate had a pit bull mix (I’m hit or miss with how the breed is based on handling) that attacked my other roommates cat, also small, black and longish fur. The cat, named Willow, had a punctured lung and went into cardiac arrest. We kicked the irresponsible and unaccountable owner out and she surrendered her dog. Willow’s owner shockingly stayed and never filed a suit. Since that fateful day Meredith has been gone. She ran away and never came back. She had always rotated between outside and in, knowing where she lived. But she wanted nothing to do with it all and left. This animation hits different for me, but in a good way. I hope she’s found another face to love, going out on an adventure, or hopefully alive at least, and hopefully will come back before my lease ends. She turned five shortly before the incident. I miss her desperately but thank you for keeping her in my feels with her talent. 🌸 I feel like Falling Leaves, desperate and reminiscing, but I hope we cross paths again someday.

Theres plently of female characters without mates? Mousefur, Rosepetal, cherryfall, briarlight, Ambermoon, Honeyfur, and Leafshade. That isn't even all of them and thats only from Thunderclan too
