- The first part of videos from my San Francisco trip! On day 1, we see Amtrak California services in Jack London Square, Oakland, where the trains run down the middle of the street with sweet horn action! Then later that day, we see another Capitol Corridor train and an ACE (Altmont Commuter Express) service at Fremont. This station has a beautiful view of the mountains to the east!
0:20 Capitol Corridor Service led by P42 #10
0:54 Capitol Corridor Service w/ P42 #193
2:00 San Jaoquin w/ F59PHI #2013, the Ex-NJT Comet set, and Cabbage F40PH #90225!
3:29 Capitol Corridor Service w/ P42 # 176
4:43 Now at Fremont, Eastbound Capitol Corridor service 542 w/ F59PHI #2015
5:48 ACE train 6 w/ F40PH-3C #3106
Enjoy :D

The ace sc 44 charger locomotives are my favorite locomotives because I like how it looks and I wish I get to see them in this video
Awesome shots! I think you foamed Jack London in the afternoon I didn't see a single Amtrak in push mode. Nice job exploring further south while in east bay. I didn't have a car I didn't want ride the BART that far.
That ACE train was hot! Love the departure.
Thanks for watching, Monica! It was an amazing trip!! We had a rental car so it was easier to get around. Our hotel was pretty far away from the city itself, so we had to drive through the mountains which was really scenic!
Nice catches! Both the UP GP60 and GP40-2 are both former Cotton Belt.
Thanks! Hopefully I'm going to Santa Clara today so might see some more UP stuff
+JBtrainman sounds great! Are you going to be around Maryland next week Monday
Yeah I'll be back on the 5th
+JBtrainman I'm going to be at the Riverdale MARC station with about 5 other railfans on Monday 8/8/16. Care to join us?
haha, looks odd to see an amtrak on a city street!
It's so different from the Northeast, it almost feels like a different country lol
