Quarantine Railfanning on the NEC

- On June 3, I went to Halethorpe for the first time in 6 months to see some action during the pandemic. Trains are still running on reduced schedules, but Amtrak recently resumed Acela and Keystones after a 2-month suspension. MARC trains have been running on their reduced "R" schedule since mid-MArch, providing service for essential employees.
During the slowdown, Amtrak started working on their track upgrade project, raising speeds in order to increase capacity on this congested section of the line. Various Maintenance of Way (MOW) equipment and a work diesel were seen on this day.

@JBtrainman Nice Video, It's Interesting To See An AMTRAK "Work Crew" At Halethorpe, What Are They Doing There?
Caleb Trains22 they are upgrading track A so trains can run at higher speeds
@@JBtrainman O.K. Thanks, That Makes Sense, For The New Acelas Especially, Also, What's Your Opinion On Them? I Think Their Horns Are Blah, Both The ACS-64's And Old Acelas Have(Had) Better Horns.
wait what howww! i thought the HHP8's were retired?
They canceled the plan to retire them in 2017
What is the outro song called?
