Blind contour drawing! Whenever I'm stuck, that's what I turn to. Great video. I've been feeling really overwhelmed lately and getting back into the habit of keeping a sketchbook has helped immensely.
Drawing upside down is a great way to teach your eye to draw what you see, and not what you know it to be. Since you're only focused on the shapes and how they connect to one another. These were good, fun ways to stir the creativity.
I'll be practicing with your tips today. Sometimes I really like continuous line drawing -- never picking up the pen. It is a great way to stay loose and free. Thanks for the encouragement, Krista!
Drawing with your non dominant hand is great to practice drawing what you actually see rather than letting your mind take over and drawing from memory eg flower petals we tend to think we know what they look like so we don’t really draw the flower in front of us with all its variety
Love the hacks. The one with left hand has so less lines and looks like Matisse-ish, Picasso-ish. I wonder now if they were drawing female faces with their non-dominant hand 🤔 gonna try these. Thank you! 🌺
I was looking for another tutorial from you! Thanks for this video! I have been drawing looser lately, and I love the results! I will definitely try drawing with my non-dominant hand and upside down! I tried drawing upside down before and it was fun as well. I'll try to draw everyday for a few minutes(if not for longer!) too! ❤
I absolutely will try to draw loosely, upside down with my non dominant hand - maybe with eyes closed 😂 That is freedom! 😃 Thank you for beeing so helpful and kind to us! ❤

Drawing things upside down is great for those subjects that you're struggling with (been there, done that).
Yes, I really enjoy it and it is interesting to see how you do when you turn it right side up. Thank you!
