Answering the most common question: Why 'ori tahiti?

THIS is why I 'ori.
In my first 'ori class, tears welled up in my eyes uncontrollably when I heard the music. In my 40+ years performing so many genres of dance, NO song has ever made me feel this way!
As a dancer, I felt like I was finally home. I'd found my dance. I felt like my entire journey as a dancer was meant for me to find 'ori tahiti.
To this day, the songs still evoke such an inexplicable, deep, visceral reaction, it brings tears to my eyes, and a deep joy wells from within. I cannot explain why.
