"Mit 'The Voice Senior' geben wir zum ersten Mal ganz bewusst einer älteren Generation die Chance, uns mit ihrer Stimme zu überzeugen", sagt Yvonne Catterfeld. "Das ist die Geburtsstunde eines neuen 'The Voice'-Universums", sagt Mark Forster. "Es ist das erste Mal, dass Sängerinnen und Sänger über 60 gegeneinander antreten", sagt Sasha. Moderiert wird "The Voice Senior" von Lena Gercke und Thore Schölermann.

He does indeed have a good voice but fun fact. Almost every show/song has autotune. May be very little but there’s indeed autotune. Especially on shows like this👍🏼 And autotune doesn’t mean you sound like T-Pain’s older songs either😂 it can sound like very normal singing

Englischer Videotitel und die Serie "Voice" ist eher in dem englischen Raum bekannt, obwohl The Voice of Holland die allererste Serie war und von den USA und dann von Deutschland übernommen wurde.

Aller Respekt, Luther Vandross zu singen ist eine herausforderung. Ich habe Luther Vandross 1987 in Ludwigshafen und nochmals 1993 in Frankfurt live erlebt. Es kann sich keiner vorstellen welch ein perfektes Konzert er gab. Er hatte die besten Chorsänger,die besten Musiker, und die beste Soundtechnik Amerikas dabei. Es war einfach ein Traum diese Konzerte von Luther Vandross zu sehen. Ich muss Michael Dixon ein großes Lob ausprechen ,mach weiter so. Grüße aus Heidelberg

No cookie-cutter sound alike voices amongst the senior singers. Just love it. Takes me back to a time when singers trained their natural voices to a wonderful tone quality such as Tom Jones, Barbara Streisand, BJ Thomas, Neil Diamond amongst many others.

I wish the judges were seniors. The senior entertainers are better than most of the people who are judging them. The musicianship and songs are better and the sounds are cleaner. Today a lot of the singers either whisper or scream and they are so busy showing off their ˋskill´ that they lose the intent of the lyrics and the soul of the song. That is the beauty of this performance. No tricks or flourishes, just pure ,beautiful singing with respect for the music.

He sang it more like Dion Warwick did in the original version which was beautiful. He did a nice job. But Luther Vandross took this song to a whole ....notha....level and no one has ever been able to compare or top that for me. Luther used to be able to put another twist on it everytime he sang it live too....he was a true artist and vocalist. RIP Luther
