That is very cool.. I have been wondering why this wasn't a standard thing from the beginning. I just saw someone else asked the same question I was thinking down in the comments concerning the router on/off function.
You can turn the router on/off automatically with a iot relay and the breakout board. Easy install highly recommend it, guarantee you will hit play at least once with the router not turned on manually. 🤣
Amazing. Thank you for sharing! Do you know if the X-50 controller can store/retain G55-G59, and G28 across power cycles? I have recessed out a notch for my touch probe in a different location in the spoilboard. Still waiting for my woodworker to arrive!
You need the breakout board and a relay. I’m using this one. Pin 15 and a ground on the breakout board. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00WV7GMA2/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_inactive_ship_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here's a link to the post in the forum. There have been some changes made to the code today. Functions a bit differently but works very well, make sure you scroll down to my reply on July 5 for the latest update. forum.onefinitycnc.com/t/bit-setter-macro-v2-0/2757

If the router/spindle is grounded do you need the magnetic attachment? Still waiting for my machine to arrive LOL!

Original controller will not store any offsets across power cycles. Elite series with Masso can.
@@mikebogart3841 Wow, thanks for the quick response Mike. That is too bad but makes your macro even more valuable 🙂
How did you set up the on/off of router without manual on/off?

Awesome. Good job.
Why did you recess the touch probe plate.
Wan’t necessary just did it so it’s always in the same location.
Next time hold your camera horizontally.
What was the micro did you use to make this work?
