The Tories might be furious but the British public is overjoyed.
At last, the will of the people.😂
Oh yes absolutely. 👏 👏 👋
Worst government of my lifetime.
Apart from the thatcher years.
@@kimgrant3879having lived through those I think it's possible these have been worse.
@@kimgrant3879Thatcher was a good PM. She sorted out the ridiculous unions that had held the country to ransom like a bunch of domestic terrorists.
I've been around a few years and for me these are by far the worst.
Even conservative voters need to concede this government is absolutely useless. It isn’t even close to being ‘conservative’ by any definition.
It does not matter what he promises now no one believes him....
Stop pushing the £2000 tax bill lie.
Does my head in as well.
They perpetuate lies
Isn't it great that whenever Liz Truss's name is mentioned, the words "tanked the economy" are never far away. What a legacy 🤣
I wonder if she is forced to sign her name that way?
@@michaeladkins6 lol she should be 💯
I mean its either that or the PM who was out lasted by a cabbage.
@@lokensicarius9347 it was a lettuce.....but I can't see her doing any better than a cabbage either 💯🤣👍
Was prime minster for 5 minutes can claim £115,000 a year for life. Not a bad weeks work.
The Tories should know that the country is furious with them about the state of the country after 14 years of their neglect.
It wasn't neglect.
It was abuse.
@@hypsyzygy506neglected is a form of abuse.
They only care about billionaires. Look at their leader.
Can someone explain why CCHQ and the Tory Party ‘was not ready’ when they knew they were in an election year?
Sheer incompetence.
@@31Blaize Winging it, without any strategy
Easy! Because EVERYTHING that comes there way is a complete surprize, like having to actually govern for example, or noticing that NO-ONE likes them anymore... May as well rename them the 'utterly oblivious' party! Which is apt really, considering there about to be sent into political oblivion!
@@nickd.6365 Like they have during government .
Remember jeir saying earlier the best kept secret in Westminster is the elections going to be July, so much blocked staff annual leave lol
I'm furious about the last 14 years
Cameron: Brexit. May: Almost let Corbyn in. Boris: Partygate. Truss: Tanked economy. Rishi: Offends veterans. What a roll of honour.
If Corbyn had become PM we would be in a far far better place than we are now. It's only the broken FPTP electorate system that keeps the tories, who have never ever won the popular vote since universal enfranchisement, in power.
What would have been bad if Corbyn got in ?
@@zangratIt certainly would have been better domestically, but a disaster internationally. He undoubtedly would have asked for the opportunity for the Russian government to be given the chance to investigate their own invasion of Ukraine.
@@CT99234 I don't think that's true tbh.
@@CT99234 I think on the international front Corbyn would have condemned the actions of the Zionists in Israel as well as Hammas.
It’s all about lack of trust, incompetence, corruption and lying. No one seems to mention this.
Plus waste, dishonesty, amateurish lack of professionalism and accountability for good measure. A legacy of filthy rivers and coasts.
Goes without saying
can someone tell me or have we forgten HS2. billions wasted.
Er?! Obviously you don't live in Birmingham and have any understanding of the actual change that has come to the region!!
Yes the Local Authority has been an utter shambles , but businesses do not invest in a region unless they see actual potential in the future!!
You are to my mind a typical British , or rather an English person, in line with the media you decry any change as waste of money etc, etc, then when the project is actually up and running at some stage as night follows day you will make use of that self same facility!!
It never fails such is the hypocrisy of individuals as yourself, decry anything but does not have a single idea of any alternative, tis moan, moan, moan for the sake of moaning!!
But then tis true what they say, little things please little minds!!
@@davidrichaidson3269
What does tis mean?
@@dave710 er!! What!! What does " tis" mean?? Not sure which part of this wide globe you hail from, not sure if this is sarcasm, not sure if this is as we say in UK a wind up, but here goes!!
Try reading the comment once more and rather than the word "tis", replace it with "it's"!!
See !! It makes perfect sense!! Tis called the English language!!!!!!
@@davidrichaidson3269
Why would you use medieval language you numpty!
The Tories are revolting
Anyone saying that Reform is a wasted vote but has just wasted 14 years on this lot and/or 13 years on Labour before them needs to look themselves in the mirror.
Yes.
Labour record was good, go check it out. @@maccagrabme
@@maccagrabme Yep! 27 years of incessant lying...
Oh I don't know. Some of them are quite nice chaps.
Dissect it all you like - voters see clearly that Tories totally lack ability, totally lack integrity, totally lack honesty. These things clearly don't matter to Tories but they do matter to most voters.
I don't think I'll ever forget the humpty backed drowned rat announcing the election. When the music started, it was pure comedy gold 😂😂😂.
That’s not fair at all! Rats can be quite charming and wholesome.
Someone needs to make a film of all this, with the Tories cast as The Carry On Team. It would be hilarious, unfortunately we have had to put up-with them for 14 years, while most films only last a few hours.
A selfish Tory? No!
That pathetic strategy isn't going to work. The public actually want to see tories left with less than 5 seats.
He called it because he has no idea what to do anymore run out of ideas, he was never up to the job 😂
Johиsoи purged the Tory Party of all its competence.
The more delicate part is that Rishi doesn't see anyone else with any idea within the Conservative and Unionist Party. At least with that perception he's probably agreeing with the majority of people in the UK.
You know it's bad when local Conservative MP's don't refer to the current Prime Minister anywhere on their campaign leaflets.
And try to pretend they're from the Labour Party to the extent the Police investigate their local campaign literature.
They do it all the time with 'local conersvative' being used on the ballor paper.
This timing of the general election, is the epitome of the confused thinking of the Tory party since they won the referendum! Since then, it's all been rapidly downhill, as was forecast and expected and has now come to fruition!
The Tory Party didn't win the referendum. They held a referendum (in which even their leader and most Tory mps did not even believe in.)
Henry-over the-Hill looks devastated, now where's my really small violin.......
It's like the last days of Berlin 😂
Faraj in the bunker?
Or the roman empire
More like the rooftop of the US Embassy in Saigon ...
Who cares ?!? It’s over. 🎉🎉🎉
So, not only is Sunak detached from the public but seemingly detached as well from his own party.
"Never forget. We will remember them" - especially on July 4th.
Going early was never going to catch Labour off guard, they had to be ready for an election in May so manifesto has been basically written for months
Oh dear, what a shame.
California's about to become 1 rich dwarf richer.
Big eared rich dwarf
14 years of 'Strong & Stable' government
There are going to be a lot of Tory MPs made redundant.
Perhaps all of them #noseats.
THIS is why they are furious. They are only concerned about themselves. Headline reads.."Tories are furious with Rishi" meanwhile the ENTIRE country is furious with the Tories. If only they realised. Sad
@@dj_cakes They have swarmed us with the third World.
Put us under house arrest for a year.
And taken us to the brink of WW3.
None of this was what we voted for in 2019.
They don't deserve a single seat.
The likes of Gullis will never get such an easy well paid job with so many taxpayers funded perks again. How will he manage on a school teachers salary living in Stoke.😂😂😂😂😂😂
Henry Hill doesn't understand the meaning of the term 'hospital pass'.
Ha, definitely. He could not have got it more wrong really.
When Reform start picking apart the Tories "Net Zero" mantra -it will be all over.
There’s no way back for the tories now
What's the point of using massive headphones?
Its not like they are in the middle of traffic!
Massive ears?
I agree with keewing it wouldn't surprise me if sunak only called the election because he knew there was a good chance of a vote of no confidence in him by conservative mps.
Increasing the lib dem seats provides an opposition. Just saying.
Yes
They probably just need 85 to form the opposition now.
That is a terrifying prospect!
@@stephfoxwell4620 That's a big ask. We (I'm a Lib Dem) would have to win every seat where we're in 2nd place to any party in order to achieve that... My opinion is that our ceiling is probably 70-75 (based on only gaining Conservative seats were we're in second place, plus holding what we're defending). Beyond that we'd need to find a handful of Labour seats we can gain, or a handful of Conservative seats we can win from 3rd place, if we're to hit 85.
The party that got into bed with the tories?? People have long memories and won’t forget that.
@@CRINOTH
More chance of plaiting fog.
how many hospitals this time?
Only built one so far
Tories are toast
Don't say that, I like toast!
At this point... if someone told me that Truss and Sunak were Labor plants... I'd believe them.
He called it early to stop nigel ((wrong move again ) his people skills are fantastic
"his people skills are fantastic"
Like all professional con artists.
Where is the apology after 14 years? 😡
you can blame the Tory voters for that one.
I am a pensioner and even if the entire National Insurance charge is scrapped, it will not put a single extra penny into my pocket. Where is MY incentive to vote Conservative?
Well said sir
They'll probably reduce any future pension increases to pay for it too 🙄
It's over, let's just get on with it.
Polling consistently shows people, including centre right conservatives, want functioning public services. Tax cuts can come once we get some economic growth. What is wrong with these people.
The last 14 years have shown how able the tories have been to rule. Let the rich give a penny to the poor and off set it against tax.
Not being Boris Johnson is Sunak’s biggest flaw. Rishi leading a coup against the Tories election winning Prime Minister was the beginning of the end for the Tories. Yes Boris was chaotic. Yes the public was mad at him. But Boris has something most politicians do not have. Incredible bouncebackability. Labour knew this and knew they had to get rid of him as they could see the Tories had nobody else like him waiting in the wings. That Tory MPs thought Sunak had a better chance of beating Labour or, in a worse case scenario, winning significantly more seats than Boris shows how utterly clueless they are. They seem to know nothing about British people.
unfreezing the personal allowances could have been a game changer.
Yet still 20% will vote for them 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
Because they don't want labour in power
Remember that 50% of the population have below average IQ.
Brilliant and Hilarious 😂
Many thanks will get the Popcorn Out 😊
Im former Labour voting for reform.. i auspect Labour will be surprised how the working man of the north is going to reject them.
There should be no re-building. The Tories should be disbanded.
They’re furious? I’m furious at their incompetence and corruption
As a Labour supporter I am so grateful Henry Hill is not advising the Conservative Party, because he actually might find a way for them to win
He's really quite impressive. He's definitely got a future in politics if he wants it.
Fourteen years...they are completely exhausted and need replacing.
Blair was right when he said it would destroy them.
Of course they’re fuming. It means their six week summer recess in Marbella is now jeapordised by losing their jobs.
Are they still pushing the 2ooo pound lie?
What else have they got?
I wasn't paying much attention and was expecting Harry Hill for a second...
Now… I like Labour.. but I also like the Lib Dem’s… but which is better?
@@williamchapple8886whichever has the best chance of kicking out the tories in your neck of the woods
Graham Brady had a chat with him and he called an election...
Get PR Torys may never come back .Fingers crossed
Labour didn't have any policy but it would cost exactly £2094 that's some squaring of the circle going on there
The public is delighted! Its not even about Sunak. Its. All. About. The. Stinking. Tories. 14 years of misery.
They wanted Boris back !
So, who IS in Rishis 'inner circle' who did know ??
Daddy inlaw lol
When Sunak came back from France did he return via Dunkirk? Is that emblematic of his campaign?
Imagine suitcases packet 2 weeks in the sun and 4-6 months MP salary to look forward to. Appsolultly no work started as it’s going to be October election. Suddenly Holidays off no salary and heaps of angry constituents to talk to.
Truly amazing commentary. It's like a nuclear sunset? so terrible it's beautiful. Far worse than Gordon Brown fumbling an election call, no one could've imagined that the refined, polished, smug, sneering party of Cameron in 2010, would degenerate into the stampeding rabble it is now.
Visually it's like the final duel between Voldemort and Harry playing out in painful slow motion.. slowly the red beam of energy is punching through the green. Through the wall of green, right through to the caster's hand, and now the tories are turning into dust and ash before our eyes.
Times Radio: fascism for people who can`t read the the printed wing of the Tory party.
It isn't D Day for Sunak, it's DUNKIRK!
Today I learned Henry Hill is Irish. He mentioned on Sky News that his team weren't in the Euros. I was baffled until I googled.
They wanted to stay on the gravy train until it reached the last possible station on the line.
His first big mistake was 45 mins after being elected as leader and PM he re- appointmented cruella' Beaverman...so much for professionalism integrity honesty accountability 😅
for getting Cameron back big mistake.
Ummm...not knowing what a hospital pass is?
I was Labour for many decades, then Tory in 2017 & 2019. Now (with Sunak, Cameron, & Hunt in control, I’m voting for Reform as I have Zero faith left in the Tory Party.
I wonder how many people will even bother to vote. Where I live so many people feel nothing will change or they mistakenly believe politics isn't their concern. I also know people who don't realise they need photo ID. It worries me
I am one of those and fptp can be added to that list , though this year 20000 or above is a marginal .
No 10 Drowning Street
No matter how you look at it. They have left this country in one helluva mess ! Vote Reform !
The Tory MPs wanted another 6 months wages and expenses , that is the ONLY reason they are mad at Sunak.
Calling an election when 20 pts behind in the polls seems extremely odd to me. Rishi sunak at only 43 is finished in politics.
Sunak's gift to the British people - he put us out of our misery.
Yes, tories are revolting!😂😂 After14 years of ruin, failure, arrogance, corruption & lies they are fully exposed, the game is up!
It won't be a note they will leave in the drawer .It will be a novel .
Brexit has taught us one lesson and that's how utterly useless our politicians are.
Sunak is not a leader and he lacks political nous. He's just thrashing about.
How? How were you not ready? We've only been talking about it incessantly for the past six months! You knew it had to be called within the year! "B-b-b-but Rishi said the second half of the year"- well welcome to the second half of the year, you absolute parsnips
The Tory tactic of trying to deny Labour a majority has been lifted from events in Queensland in the late 90s. Where the Libs/Nats pleaded with QLD voters not to give Labor a deserved majority.
This was so effective, that Labor nearly did not win a majority. And Qld was again plunged into decline.
But the Tories...in the UK now..
Theyre in a place where Gary Glitter & Jimmy Saville are more preferable. That is where the Tories are at at this moment in time.
The only thing that matters, is that the Tories have got to go.
"It's The Tories ..... They're Revolting ...... Yes, you can say that again.
I'm praying I dont wake up and find it's all a dream. It's just too good to be true!
Don’t think Sunak had much choice! There was no way the general public was going to let him drag it out until the Autumn Pressure on him must had been immense
Henry Hill v insightful. Impressive.
Or - could this be the Conservative Party distancing themselves from Rishi?
Tory Death Spiral. Good name for a band. 🎸
There is no longer any doubt from which to benefit
So why are Tom Hunt's leaflets yellow and purple?
