Fibreglassing in bare feet. That's hardcore!
I tried this in bare feet, just like you. I now have carbon fibre soles for the rest of my life. One thing for sure is I never have to buy shoes, just not sure what colour to polish them, black , brown, not sure?
Steve McIlroy I work at a fiberglass pultrusion plant. I feel ya there. I just let the resin decide the color of my boots. I think id be an inch shorter but i wouldn't go anywhere near this stuff barefoot

I can't imagine all the oil on skin on the feet and hand do this process any good? Also you should use gloves because you get sensitized to the chemicals.

what material is the mold made of.. is it wood or iron sheet
We have done this process already and succeeded, after releasing the sheet we must roll on, at that moment we are facing a problem in some sheets. We keep those rolls (outside)
while opening the roll for fixing, it appears some crack lines. How to fix the problems? What could be the reason?
How many layer of mat you apply.
Two layers, and some three layers.
I think when you roll the sheet It was still under curing (not completely cured) that's why stress marks developed.... I think you can repair it v easily. Another cause is may be the gel coat was too much fast catalyzed and gel coat was cracked due to the high exothermic heat releasing reaction.

Death of UA-cam Because it looked like only 2 layers of 1.5 so it would be that flexible, plus it probably wasn't fully fully cured.

Hi. Thanks for sharing this video. I want to make a 2X2 fibreglass sheet with 6mm thickness. I used a glass surface, because i want the very smooth surface. I was tried by your video instructions. Everything was perfect, but i couldn't remove the fibreglass from the glass surface i used. And then i tried again and the result is the same. Pls help me. what did i wrong? My steps as follows.
1. Wax in and wax off.
2. Applied PVA coat and wait till it become hard.
3. Applied Gel Coat + Color Pigment (Black) + Catalyst mix well and applied to the surface and wait till it hard.
4.Applied Catalyst+Resin mixture to the every mat layer. ( I used 8 layers )
5. wait till it hard.
+Nadee Kularatna haha.... videos dont tell everything..... apply wax polish to glass and remove the fiber glass before it gets completely cured
+Aditya Jamanjyoti I would try only one layer first, let it dry and separate it from the glass. It is more flexible that way. After separating, put back down on glass and add other layers to keep it flat. If it is stuck on the glass now try to gently heat the glass so it expands which will also soften the wax and hopefully release. Try prying it apart with a small wooden wedge between the fiber glass and glass. Glass as great as a mold but if it is thinner, more likely to break unless you try bonding it to a stronger surface
That's too a good idea but when ua curing fiberglass in moulds this idea cannot be applied
+Aditya Jamanjyoti yes you can do this with other molds. Adding more than one layer of wax could help and the quality of the wax
