I hope one day we can have more genios like him, so one day we can build fiberglass houses. Amazing job. We need big panels to build the walls and doors. Congratulations.
Its better to layup panels on galv sheet metal, 4×8, wax once, pva, gel coat, an no pin holes on sheet, for angles use any structuraul steel tubes, for corners, brakets, etc
I actually add 25% water to the PVA and spray it out of a spray bottle . Works just as good and stretches the PVA more cost effective and easier to wash off.
Got the table separated eventually! Lateral thinking would use a jigsaw to cut the bow plate out of the table. Please persevere and put up a video of the next stage - how are you going to join lay-up resin hull and this plate (which contains wax to prevent oxygen cure issues)....without sanding it all down ...? I have a genuine reason to see how this goes! I made 50 square panels for a telescope dome which have sat in storage for 15 years until i've got time to tile the frame with them. Hoping to cut (diamond wet saw) with no overlap and reinforce with layup from the inside.

This is a great video! Keep up the work . Newfoundland accent reminds me of my uncle's building stuff in the summer

Use PVA after waxing. You can apply the PVA to your layup table easily with a sponge or rag.

@@jimmiller4951 I usually add water too.

Would a panel of glass be better than plywood ?
What brand / model are the scissors that your using to cut the cloth?
For my mold im going to use cardboard with a thin plastic sheet overtop that should peel off. Look a lot easier than chiping away .
Just following here and alot of great helpful information . I was wondering what kind of material is on the table?wood coated or plastic sheet or ??

You don't get headaches from the resin? Even working outside, I get resin sick if I don't have my respirator on 😯
Use compressed air to release your glass off the table Sir much faster
