    The only way this works is with a "blinking LED" it does not work with a standard LED. You can tell by the height of the red LED. It is taller than a regular LED. Won't work with +5Vdc or +12Vdc.

      Becausethis is a RGB led... giving the exact voltage for the each colour...you can Glow it in the colour...so I think he provide the voltage which only ignites the red colour

    It only works if you use one of those self flashing LEDs, but then you don't even need the transistor!

    My Spider Sense tells me there is something off with this circuit. The recovery Time of a transistor is not half a second so my guess the other comments are right when they say this can not be an ordinary led.

    Either it's a blinking LED or the supplied voltage is pulsating voltage source. Just hooking these things up won't result into this.

    This is silly. It has to be a blinking LED, which he doesn't tell you. So why do you need anything else, all you need is the current limit resistor.

    How the collector emmiter path get shorted once in a while?? The base of the transistor gets current in a linear manner. He must be using a switch to control the current flow to the whole circuit, not only the base of the transisitor.

    So the transistor is turning on due to the resistor and how is it turning back off? 🥲 Like does the base consume more power when the output is on

    • @BurnedTransistor
      @BurnedTransistor Рік тому

      I'd say that first the current will go to the base of a transistor, then after it starts conducting it will turn on the LED and because he put a high resistance on the base the current will go through the LED and because of that there won't be any current through the base(or very little but not enough for it to start conducting) so it will turn off.

    • @Yeaitts
      @Yeaitts Рік тому

      @@BurnedTransistorlike would there be no equilibrium between turning on and off at some point? I mean this transistor cannot output a square wave it's either increased to a point or completly turned off.
