Love the Butterflies! Great job on them! All the flowers are beautiful! Simple rose for deepest sympathy, very nice. The envelopes are very creative! I love how you cut out the roses from the paper for the color instead of coloring them. You? Like Butterflies? Finally!! Love you!
LOL! Thank you Alice!! Paper piecing those roses was fairly simple and saved a lot of time!! Love to all at the Rockin' Pegg Ranch!! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Oh my goodness Scott ! How brilliant of you to use watercolor print paper for those roses and leaves and the 'dew drops' were a beautiful touch. Love the dark pinkish red peony and 'broccoli' bouquet ! 😋and thank you for showing how magnificent that blue glimmer ink looks on black paper ! The single rose sympathy card is elegant and the flower birthday card very fun. Oh and the purple and red glimmer on black butterflies- superb ! Love the way you assembled two of the profile ones to create a more 3D look. Very fun letter that keeps coming out of that little envelope - will delight the recipient ! Well done as usual . So happy that you share your creativity with us ! Love you!
Beautiful cards, Scott! You always come up with clever ways to create cards with each kit. This month is no exception. The "How Do I Love Thee" poem card is genius. I'm always looking for ways to make an elegant, beautiful sympathy card and yours with the single white rose is perfect. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with us again this month, Scott. I Love the rose pun, too. Happy Valentine's Day!
Those butterflies are gorgeous and love, love that shimmer ink! All of the cards are really beautiful and creative! The single white rose is so pretty and so appropriate for a sympathy card. TFS! You are the best! Laura
Thank YOU, Laura! Always good to hear from you! I liked this kit much more than I thought I would! And that rose card may become my go-to sympathy card! Spread the Cheer!!!
The Paper King has done it again! Scott .. Bravo. Love what you have done with this kit . Every card is my favorite ;) Watching you share your video makes me feel like I've won the paper lottery. I have not had much time lately and frankly the stress of life is kinda heavy at the present so to bring back some happy to my life ....This weekend I will pull up your video, create your cards in my scrap room and enjoy a Hot skinny vanilla latte with almond milk and 1 splenda. Ha Ha Ha Have a great day. Hugs from Cali
Thank you so much Pam! That truly means a lot to me. It pleases me to no end to be able to share some smiles with you (and a few ideas!) (BTW, I take two splendas in my morning coffee!) Sending big crafty hugs from the Big Apple! Spread the Cheer! 🦋
I had to laugh at your broccoli baby’s breath, the sneaky pun, and your question about whose death that poem was referring to! I didn’t like the look of this kit until I saw what you did with it. I love the colorful butterflies, the doubling-up of the profile butterflies is genius! And the hidden letter is brilliant. Your rainbow envelopes are wonderful, and die cutting patterned paper for the roses was very smart.
Okay Scott you did great with this kit. I was like okay more flowers, more butterflies. Okay. But...what you did with this kit was great. Love the blue butterflies. I really love cutting the roses out of pattern papers, they are beautiful. When I saw your blue roses it reminded me of a movie eons ago where the hero had to find the rare blue rose to save his lady love. Alas he lost the blue rose fighting dragons and so forth on his way back so picks out a white rose and hands it to his lady love and tells her here is your blue rose, and of course it turns blue. My favorite is the simplicity of the white sympathy card. Great job Scott.
Thanks so much Marlene! Always deeply appreciated! Love the blue rose story.. all I could think of was The Glass Menagerie when the gentleman caller mistakes Laura's illness (pleurosis) and nicknames her Blue Roses! Sending you big crafty hugs! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
WOW! Phenomenal cards! I am with you on butterflies in general but you really did a stunning job with these dies. There is something special about all of them: newsprint wrapper and also as a column, the rose bud sympathy card and beautiful blue and silver congrats card, the wraparound banner, your coloring (esp the yellow flowers), the b-day cake, the bright envelopes and the interactive poem. All very clever!
Thank you, Jennifer! I always appreciate hearing from you! I had much more fun with this kit than I originally thought I would! Your support and encouragement inspire me! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Spectacular coloring with the Spectrum Noirs and use of colors in the envelope card and the rose bouquet! So glad you made room for a pun, too. Many thanks!
All the cards this month are spectacular 🤗. Love how you rose to the pink challenge this month. The blue butterfly and the deepest sympathy card were my favorites.
I so enjoy your videos Scott. You outdid yourself with the fab butterflies, and the envelope card-how fun. The Sympathy card; elegant . How do I love thee, a whole lot! Hero Arts needs you for their design team.
Thank you so much Christine! You know I always appreciate hearing from you! I WISH HA would put me on their team...! Wouldn't hurt to send them a note expressing your thoughts...!! Happy Valentine's Day and... 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
You are so creative you always surprise me. That hidden poem card is so amazing. And all those rainbow envelopes love love. That sympathy card was so simple yet so stunning. Great great video 👍🏻👍🏻 you rocked this kit.
WOW! You are fabulous! Your cards are so unique...they are all so beautiful, and yes, the BUTTERFLIES are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your inspirations. Seriously I am in awe of you and your creativity. THANKS AGAIN! oh...I don't have a favorite...because i love😍 all of them😁
Spectacular cards as always, Scott! When you said the greenery on the front of the third card reminded you of broccoli, I howled! And the last card with the blue roses reminded me of the play, The Glass Managerie, when the beau incorrectly used blue roses in place of pleurosis!
Thanks Marylu! Always happy to share some smiles with you!! I was right there with you for the blue roses... that was his nickname for Laura in school. Great minds!! (or at least theatrical!) 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Scott you did a fantastic job with this flower kit...I loved # 5 & 10 but again # 1,2 & 3 turned out awesome....I like what you did with the envelope card # 9 (great thinking)...thank you again for sharing your talent and your creations.....keep it coming.
Scott, thanks for another awesome set of cards. You handled the "pink" quite well. All of the cards are amazing, but the butterflies are stunning. Thanks for the demo with the metallic paint on black cardstock. So happy you're still doing HA kits. You always manage such a nice variety of cards with the kits. Appreciate the inspiration!
Scott, your card are always amazingly beautiful designed cards. The one card you thought looked more like broccoli , I thought of baby's breath when I first looked at it. The Butterflies are absolutely gorgeous and the 2 envelope cards are so cut! Glad to have you back. I missed you punds.
Brilliant. I love what you did with this kit. The butterflies are amazing. I love the negative space too on the sympathy card. Very thoughtful use of all the elements in the kit. Thanks for sharing.
Stunning butterfly card on news printed background, sympathy card, and your rainbow colored envelopes card, Scott! Amazing designs and use of kit; TFS!✨😃👍🏾
Hi Scott! Very nice assortment of cards this month. Your butterfly cards are beautiful...but my favorite is the Sympathy card...very peaceful. Great job...as always!
Thanks Lisa! Heaven knows when I need a sympathy card I'm never in the mood to make one...! I think that rose die will get a lot of use over the years! Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
These are all so beautiful. The last one with the wreath looks like the Hallmark Signature line. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas. You are so creative. And i love how you incorporate elements from earlier MMH kits because you KNOW I haven’t touched 99% of them. I have to have them but using them is a different story. I have to clean my messy house first.
LOL! I hear ya, Sheryl! Thank you so much for the kind words! I ended up liking this kit much more than I thought I would! Sending Healthy and Happy thoughts to you and yours!
As always Scott, you inspire me in my card making! Such lovely cards, I love the embossing folders you used, they adds so much pizzazz to the final outcome of the card. So grateful you shared your time & creativity!!!
Thanks you so much Maria! You know that means a lot to me! I think the embossing folders are a great stand-in for pattern papers and their texture works so well with all the die-cuts! Sending you big crafty hugs! Spread the Cheer!
You outdid yourself! It’s hard to pick a favorite since I love so many. The sympathy card is stunning. The butterfly cards are amazing. I will definitely be making those. Thanks for the inspiration!
As soon as I saw the first card, all I could say was WOW! You really made a beautiful set of cards. The pun in the last one was unexpected. Very clever. Your shadowing on the sympathy card looks very realistic. I just love everything you did with this kit.
Your techniques with the kit contents are always unique; I always get great ideas. The white rose sympathy card is absolutely stunning and I'm looking at my stash to see what I can use to CASE this design! I also liked the wrapped banner and the first bouquet. Thanks for sharing.
👍👏👏👏👏 U did it again Scott. All the cards r amazing. The butterflies r absolutely beautiful. Luv the colours. Like how u did the two envelope card w/ poem. Great idea. Tfs your video. Really enjoyed it. Have a great day Scott
I don’t usually get flower kits, but I got this one . You did an outstanding job on these cards. I had trouble thinking of what to do with the beautiful metallic ink so you may see me using it on black butterflies sometime soon. Thanks for sharing all your ideas. You are an original and it shows in your cards.
Thanks Judy! So many butterflies have black outlines, and that glimmer ink is a great medium on black card stock! Maybe I won't cringe at the sight of butterflies in my kits anymore...!! 😁 Spread the Cheer!
Great job again. Almost time for Feb kit and I haven't had enough time with this one. I make sympathy cards for our church so you know I need a lot of ideas, so the white rose will be in my repertoire. The blue butterfly would work with that sentiment too. Thanks for sharing your creativity! Mar
Thank YOU, Mar! ALWAYS appreciated! I know whenever I need a sympathy card I'm usually not in the mood to make one...! Sending you big crafty hugs! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Your ideas are great as always...love the birthday cake, love the butterfly cards and the never ending letter is such a lovely idea I have to try out...
I really wish Hero Arts would send to you your kit early so you can show your project/cards at the hop the day they go on sale. My favorite card is the deepest sympathy. It is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talents.
I love those blue roses too Scott! AND the blue butterflies, AND the rose bouquet, AND the etc, etc, etc...So happy you "rose to the challenge" of pink and butterflies, and as always, you've done a spectacular job. I am just sick though, bc I had stopped my monthly subscriptions at the end of last year, but fell in love with this kit. Thought I ordered it, as I had plans for it, and imagine my surprise when I opened my HA order to make my mom a birthday card, and NO KIT!!! Went back and checked my order online, and nope, not on there. Tried to order it but it was sold out! Well, maybe HA will offer the stamps and dies again in the future, like they've done in the past, so I can pick it up then. I was very surprised to find they didn't add the aqua metallic glimmer ink to the metallic glimmer family as they have in the past. Oh well, it didn't stop me from enjoying the beauty that you have created with this kit with the added watercolored cs! Love your broccoli! Hahahahaha!!! Looking forward to enjoying what you have for us in this month's HA Kit! Keep spreading the cheer my crafty friend! 👏
Thank you so very much Denise! Always a treat hearing from you! I have never seen a MMH kit sell out as fast as this one did! I'd think that would bode well for a re-release in the future... and maybe the Aqua glimmer ink will appear in the shop sometime too! Believe me when I say that your support and encouragement is what keeps me inspired! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
I love your take on the rose buds. Terrific idea! I'll have to try it! Never thought of using variegated paper for the buds. ☺ Great job on all the cards, by the way.
When I saw that you were on here, I said Well YAY, Scott's back. I look for your video's through-out the month. My favorite is the Deepest Sympathy card. So gorgeous.
Great cards!! They are ALL awesome. One I like the least is the cake yet beautiful. Great Xmas present dies. I tend to use oval frequently. Using it to make a wreath is such a great idea. Odd how u used embossing folders. I just went thru to organize mine yesterday. Didn’t realize how many I had collected over the years-most bargains from Tuesday Morning. I’m planning to use them more this year. I’m so thrilled when I see u use old supplies with new kits/supplies!! Many forget about older things we fell in love with yet stopped using when something new comes along. Happy New Year Scott. Glad u had a great holiday season.
Thank you, Pat!! It was that sweetie embossing folder in the LFL kit that inspired me to try some more with this kit..! I must remember embossing folders work great with shimmer and metallic card stock! Sending you big crafty hugs! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Hi Scott! Fabulous cards as always. I, too, am not a huge fan of pink, but I use it in cards designed for people who do like pink. My favorite flower is a white rose, so your sympathy card really caught my eye. All the cards are fantastic, but I was especially impressed with the dozen roses. You managed to cut the flowers out of the exact right spots on the paper, giving them much dimension and a realistic appearance. Happy VD day (Valentine's Day! What did you think? I always use that pun for Valentine's Day.)
Hi Scott! You never cease to amaze me! How do you come up with such unique ideas? I thought the butterflies were my favorite until I saw your envelope with the sliding letter! You must do a tutorial on that one! Happy crafting! :)
Thanks Angie! Always nice to hear from you! I think the more challenging kits force me to try a little harder to come up with 10 unique cards..! We'll see if there's a big demand for a how-to on that sliding card...! Happy Valentine's Day and 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
These cards are so great, Scott!! I love them all, but my favorites are the two butterfly cards, the two envelope cards, the gorgeous sympathy card, and the Congratulations card with the blue roses. I adore the first card with the rose bouquet and the “Thank you, You’re the best” card. Had you made that one a Valentine’s card you could have written “I love you more than broccoli” inside!! Lol!! I laughed out loud when you said the baby’s breath looked like broccoli!!! 😅 The How Do I Love Thee card is genius!! You come up with the best ideas!!! Thank you for these beautiful cards. I’m bummed that the kit is sold out and we can’t even buy the individual parts. But, I’m glad I get to see what you make from it each month! Thank you, Scott!! ❤️
Thank YOU, Carol! I always appreciate hearing from you! I was totally surprised when this kit sold out so fast..! Who'd a thunk it!?? 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Awesome job! I especially love the butterflies. I painted some on white cardstock..they are pretty but not stunning like yours. Going to have to try again on black cardstock. Thanks for sharing your card ideas.
Scott, your cards are beautiful. I love them all, the envelope cards are so sweet. Your flower bouquets are gorgeous as are your butterflies. You give us such amazing inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing. X
I'm with you re butterflies but those blue are stunning. My fav is the sympathy card, no clutter, just beautiful. Was getting worried there were no puns but lucky last came through. Not broccili, it's baby's breath...hehe...tfs
Hi Scott...hope you have been well. Now that I have retired I find I'm spending more time catching up on scrapbooking so I haven't visited your channel in awhile. Glad to see you are as creative as ever. This did look like a nice kit, mainly for that background stamp and envelope die.
Love these. I too could not get this kit. My crafty friends call me “ HRH The Butterfly Queen” so I’m sure you can guess which cards are my favorites. However that single one rose sympathy card is epic. Less is more. Stunning! I want those shiny butterflies, lol!! You never disappoint!! 🦋🦋
Thank you so much Suzanne! I'm sorry, I mean Thank you so much Your Royal Highness The Butterfly Queen! Always appreciated! I was completely surprised at how quickly this kit sold out...! DRAT! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Thanks Cheri! The black lines on the butterflies are cut lines from the die... as long as you don't soak the paper with ink, the die-cut lines should stay black...!! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Your creativity’s amazing! I’m always shocked that you don’t have more subscribers. It might be because you exclusively feature videos of card kits which rarely include footage of how you make the cards. I’m sure that adds a lot of editing time to the process, but you might want to consider showing the process for at least one card per video if you want to grow your channel. You can also check out Katherine Kelly’s group for channels that want to increase their numbers of subscribers. The members have hops and promote each other. I’m afraid I forgot the name of the group, but the name of Katherine’s channel is comprised of her name, Katherine Kelly.
Thanks Iris. Always appreciated! Unfortunately, I tend to spend an inordinate amount of time with each of my cards and where they begin is rarely where they end up! That definitely adds a significant amount of editing time... I do showcase how-tos occasionally, and have a good number of strictly process videos on my channel. With a full-time job, I'm lucky to get any videos posted to my channel at all! I'm scheduled to do a LIVE FB Stamp-a-long with Hero Arts mid-September! We'll see how that goes!
Thank you, Ezzy! Always greatly appreciated! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Don’t usually comment but I do watch all your videos and I like what you do with all your card kits...Love the blue rose buds....TyFS
Thank YOU, Luana! Great to hear from you! It is truly appreciated! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
I think your broccoli card looks like Queen Anne's Lace. Lovely cards
Thank Bonnie! I didn't even think of Queen Anne's Lace...!! (myopically focused on 'baby's breath'!) 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Love your white rose and all butterflies!
Thanks Irene! Always appreciated!! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Great job as always! Love the butterflies...gorgeous!
Thanks Sarah! Always appreciated! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋

Wow! Those aqua butterflies are fabulous!
Thanks Lisa! Always appreciated! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
I love your take on the rose buds. Terrific idea! I'll have to try it! Never thought of using variegated paper for the buds. ☺ Great job on all the cards, by the way.
Thanks Dianne!! Always appreciated!
When I saw that you were on here, I said Well YAY, Scott's back. I look for your video's through-out the month. My favorite is the Deepest Sympathy card. So gorgeous.
Thank you so much Diane! Truly appreciated! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Laura!! Thank you so much, dear heart! Paper piecing those roses was fun and saved a lot of time!! LOL!! HAPPY VD!! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋

If you have time, I'd like to see how you made the sliding card. Thanks Scott. Love your cheery attitude and laughter too.

Thank you, Deanann! I appreciated it! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
I'm with you re butterflies but those blue are stunning. My fav is the sympathy card, no clutter, just beautiful. Was getting worried there were no puns but lucky last came through. Not broccili, it's baby's breath...hehe...tfs
Thank YOU, Heather! You know I always appreciate hearing from you! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Hi Scott...hope you have been well. Now that I have retired I find I'm spending more time catching up on scrapbooking so I haven't visited your channel in awhile. Glad to see you are as creative as ever. This did look like a nice kit, mainly for that background stamp and envelope die.
Sophie! How nice to hear from you!! YAY retirement..!! (i'm starting to dream of my own..!!) Sending you big crafty hugs!!! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Great cards! TFS!! ❤️🤍🦋🌹🌷

I know I sound like a broken record but you knocked it out of the park again!!!
Thanks Anna! Much appreciated! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
Phenomenal as usual Scott! Did you draw the black ines in the butterflies? They were gorgeous!
Thanks Cheri! The black lines on the butterflies are cut lines from the die... as long as you don't soak the paper with ink, the die-cut lines should stay black...!! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
you did outdo yourself ... gorgeous
Thank you, Traci! Always appreciated! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
You're a genius!
>blush< Thank you, Terri! Always appreciated! Spread the Cheer!

I thought I was the only one who isn’t crazy about butterflies....
But yours are special!
There has got to be more folks out there who aren't crazy about butterflies!! Thanks Kathyl! Always good to hear from you! Spread the Cheer!
Oops I mean Gail
I wanted this kit soooo bad :( but it was already sold out when I first seen it
Surprised me when this kit sold out so quickly! DRAT! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
I love your work but your constant hahahaha laugh makes me leave before the end. Sorry, maybe a few less Hahahas
Thanks KittyLover! I appreciate it! Hmmmm.. and I thought I laughed less than usual with this kit...! 🦋 Spread the Cheer! 🦋
