Honestly with how incompetent/competent atmos techs tend to be, I would not be surprised station started to die because of this, and everybody just blamed atmos lol.
@@marcelohomenxmacaco2557 When in doubt, blame Engineering in general, 8/10 times in my experience its not even sabotage just shit engineers and atmos.
as an atmos before ai was even added it would occasionally be the case that you would find scrubbers in panic mode because someone had set them to that as sabotage, i suppose you could just snip the AI-A wire on them when you set them back and then if its not messed with again, odds are it was the AI. Edit: Also i'm not sure like rp space-law/SOP-wise if you're allowed to disconnect the AI from stuff as an engineer just cause you suspect something is wrong with it or your character has a gimmick that you don't like automated tech, i would assume you can as long as it doesnt cause enough damage to be self antag but idk
you can turn off the apc to the singulo computer causing it to shut off, so ai can singloose but can be stopped if you have a gen or turn the power back on.
The emitters will still be on as they run on MV cables. I think even the PA will continue firing so you can't even kill the singulo. At most you'll make the crew unable to turn off or on the PA, but that should be set to reasonable levels anyways.
I hope we see a imoroved xenobio in ss14. As fun as the slimes are they get a little old. It would be cool if it involved capturing aliens and dissecting them to unlock new stuff for the crew.
I was playing an SS14 game as a borg, cap was fucking around with the new AI laws thankfully b4 the new interactions. Homeboy accidentally put in antimov, got it stuck cause the power conviently went off. Then preceded to get himself locked inside of AI as the rest of the station preceded to scramble to fix the rogue AI. One of the funniest shifts I've played. Thankfully we all managed to fix it lmao.
damn, AI’s looking good, i hope the hologram thingies are added soon too (also, uh, i might just be uninformed but what are the blue tablet thingies in the AI core near the end of the video, on the table?)
Intelecard, takes the ai out of its core and places it in the card and usually can’t do anything in it while also showing the ais laws (at least on ss13)
I’m really loving station AI. I haven’t played it yet but I had a little round end interaction with one yesterday that made me smile. Sentient Station is cute. Sad that we can’t upload it to a tablet for evac yet.
In 2026, salvage will probably have all their rooms removed, their spacesuits removed, have all their items removed, and they will just spawn naked at arrivals and will have to tide suits and then break rocks with toolboxes
If AI starts siphoning the air out of the entire station atmo could probably turn off waste gas pump as a stop gap measure, siphoning will stop as soon as the waste lines get full I'd imagine.
@@wtfdude1830 I'm not sure, how much pressure is their limit before they can't siphon any more? Because if waste pump/valve is off it doesn't take long before scrubbers stop working, but maybe panic mode changes that? I assumed panic just increased volume, not pressure limits.
nukies, upload antimov, convince AI that nukies are not crew, and are necessary for activating the station self destruct. waiting to see that episode of 'nukies spectating'.
Ai takes priority over ui entities. Like for example an apc can only be used by 1 person at a time, and if the ai keeps it open it will force you out of the ui rendering you unable to override it.
This is funny because I'm pretty sure you can keep as many windows open as you want, so I guess technically you can lock everyone out of anything you can control. This feels like an exploit, though.
@@thorjelly during a nukie round i found this out the hard way lol damn ai bolting doors and shutting apcs to stop me from atomizing the station. It wasn't enough to stop me though haha. Pesky AI.

Ah yes, conveniently went off (turns off APC)
wait until they add ai controlled pumps. ai plasma flooding the whole station will be fun
You actually need to set up distro to be able to pump plasma into station air, though. Not as simple as just turning on a pump.
