This was a great review. Good video, very detailed and had all the information I was looking for. I'm ready to throw out my Ozito electric mower. The plastic wheels kept falling off and the engine would stall everytime I went over a thick patch of grass. This victa mower looks and sounds very solid. I don't mind the bars not being able to fold in as I just park it in the shed as it is. Thank you for taking the time to review this mower.
Great review. We picked one up from Bunnings over here in NZ, it was on clearance. Batteries were charged & ready to go. Ive used it once & it looks like itll do another round of our medium size section. I used the lowest cut height, it worked great. No more petrol mixing & sore shoulder from pull starting. Mower feels solid, whilst light enough to throw around. Cheers
Looks like a good we bust up,.. this is the exact lawnmower I'm looking at getting from Bunnings warehouse, I like the steel chassis better than plastic!!!
Fantastic review, mate. You covered every aspect that a potential buyer is wanting to know and I couldn't think of anything else I wanted to know after watching the video. Thanks 👍👏
Nice, Can You Hook Up A Solar Panel While Your Mowing? Sounds Like you need to Modify That Bolt with a Pin Lock for Quick Release. Make A Mac Guyver Video Of The Modification!
A solar panel whilst mowing? Hmm... I suppose I could. Actually stop giving me ideas, lol, I might actually do it! You're right, a quick release would be a good mod. I'll see.
To be fair, not many mowers have folding handles where you pointed to, most are bolted to the cutting deck like this one and have the upper half that folds like this.
Cheers for this, I thought it was a rigid handle from pictures but wanted to check. I was looking at picking one up maybe but that fixed handle is a deal breaker for me. Ugh, I don't really want the Ryobi 36v one either as it has a slew of problems apparently.
You can bend half of the handle, but not the the full handle where it hits the deck. For me it wasn't a deal breaker, as I have a spot to simply park it. I also looked at the Ryobi 36 when deciding on this - I usually love Ryobi... I didn't love that one though.
@@kaizenomnibiz5383 I only know what I read on reviews. Lots of people have said that it overheats constantly, drops grass cuttings, the mesh bag rips, the height adjustment mechanism breaks, there are a few other things I can't remember. I ended up buying a 56V Ego because 36V just doesn't have enough power unless you have a well kept short lawn.

Hi thanks for uploading the video. I just wanted to know is it possible to run the mower without the catcher being on? I know you can't with the ryobi one and I don't always want to catch the lawn clippings. Thanks
How's the battery last? How much battery did you have left after the mow? Thanks. Was looking at the single battery version for $400 but couldn't see any reviews on it and it was on clearance so was a little hesitant to buy the cheaper version
There's nothing really to update on this mower that I haven't covered in the video. I still use it as shown, it still cuts like a champ, battery life is great, and best of all, the wife loves it so much that even she is now cutting the grass with it. I would do an update if there was something different or some kind of change of opinion, but there's not. I still love this mower and would purchase it again. I'd love for it to have a self-propel function, but it doesn't at this price point, and I'm ok with that. I still think it's an excellent mower and that's after owning it for about a year.
Sorry mate these machines and batteries do not last and are very expensive to repair.....No comparison to my 30 year old Victa 2 stroke that I can fix and service myself.....Electric expensive landfill.

I have the 82 volt Victa mower which is a great mower, don't know why Victa discontinued the product?

Yes it runs without the catcher. The motor is not dependent on having the catcher attached.
Cool thanks for that 👍

I'm quite happy with the battery range for my yard - I get around two mowing sessions done on one charge.
Can you wash the lawnmower from the underside for cleaning purpose ?
Yes you can.
How's it compare to thr 82V version?
Couldn't tell you - I only purchased this mower.
the Swift is 1/3 of the price and operates as well. Plus the Swift operates on 1 40v Battery.
Awesome... that's great.
Can you make another mowing video about this mower?

It's lasted me well so far for the last two years and haven't had to service it once yet - nor buy any fuel for it. Runs like a champ.
