Seems like they are taking everything people want from other hunting games and using it to an advantage. I think this will be one of the best hunting games out there! Great job on the coverage KC!
Said it before and I’ll say it again, I appreciate how in-depth the species list is. One of my biggest gripes with COTW is how they just label moose, moose and every moose on every map looks the same, while moose in the "PNW", Yukon (Alaska), New England, Russia are all completely different species of different sizes with different antlers. They did the same with mule deer, bighorn sheep, black tail deer ect… wish COTW would add that bit of detail but that’s probably asking for too much.
This looks amazing!!! It will completely replace cotw for me if it lives up to hype it’s giving out. Why has it taken this long for a realistic hunting game!? 😂
It hasn't. The current most realistic hunting game is theHunter Classic which came out in 2008. When Call of the Wild came out it was a very realistic hunting game, and was intended to be a realistic hunting game.
Some of the worst games of the past 5 years and especially since 2023 have been AAA studio games. It doesn't take 100 devs to make a good game. Also this game has been in development for a few years already. I wouldn't be so quick to sweep it under the rug
I need to see this game in full action before i say my final opinion. I believe this game when its 1.0 released, seems far to much hype for me now to seems plausible at this point. I still have “the day before” in the back my head and they also had “a small team” and large ambitions. Actions speak louder then words.
I guess we shall see…wasn’t it suppose to be released last year but WOTH came out so they postponed the release date? We’ll see if it becomes competitive to rival COTW and WOTH.

All of these are hunted irl. Pretty insane how there's plenty of information out there going against your preconceived idea, yet apparently you're too lazy to do even the tiniest bit of research. Can't really expect more from the common denominator ig lol

I approach most games with cautious optimism, but this looks very promising. Looking forward to what they have planned

they need to add whitetail hunting in the midwest. Kansas. Iowa. soemthing else. That mountainous landscape just isnt realistic
If elephants are added to cotw they should have an extremely rare fur called mammoth, it would be a much fluffier version of a standard elephant
