I’ve had consistent Bluetooth connection issues between my Gen 2 and iPhone 15 Pro, like, forever! The most annoying part is looking at my watch to note the temperature, but see dashes in that field instead. So I have to open the Connect App and let it refresh in order to display the temperature on the watch. Does this all day! Does anyone have a fix for this issue? While I’m not fond of the Apple Watch Ultra/2’s battery life (as compared to the Gen 2), I’m tempted to go with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 for everyday wear, and just use the Gen 2 strictly as a golf watch (which it’s great at). Also frustrating is that I have my fields set up the way I want them for pickleball, including a graphic display at the top showing my heart rate zones. Sometimes the graphic representation is replaced (without my help or approval) by simple heart rate digits. Arrgghh!!!
@@dannymcneal my Bluetooth issues eventually went away after a few updates. I haven't had this watch for a few years, rocking a Fenix 8 Amoled. I lost count on how many updates it had, but have had no issues with it.
@@striff - Thank you for the reply. I update my Gen 2 immediately as soon as it notifies me of an update. The last time it received an update, I really thought that issue had been fixed. But, alas, it resurfaced a week later.
hey hi... Nice topic. Back in 2018 I've had a Fenix 5 Sapphire and I could not stay away from the phone 6 feet that i was disconnected so annoying and i returned it. From that experience I've decided to not buy Garmin and I just wanna give onother shot with Garmin and see how it goes with the Epix 2gen. I will be back here with some update on that issue as soon i get it connected to my LG V60. Peace
@@striff Yeah that's what I was wondering .... I had issues with iPhone same thing. Like it doesn't play nice because it's made a a different company ..... Seems to be fine with Samsung though .... Weird.
Same here, Scott. I started the thread on this on the Garmin Forum. Thank you for adding the video.
