Glad I'm not the only one with similar issue. After a while, the original owner took a break from Genshin and left the account under my care. After that I have more freedom in fixing said account
I like these kinds of videos, they really embody the whole "everyone plays the game differently, let people have fun" thing. I have a bit of a fun story to share:
one of my friends pulls his faves + just clears abyss for primos, not caring if he misses a star here or there. but this abyss he was trying his damndest to c6 wanderer but he already has 100% exploration everywhere. he kept resetting for hours, 1 star away from full clear, before he asked me to help.
and when I got onto his account and he asked, "do I just not have the right teams or is it because my builds are shit?" I went to check his builds.
12 and 20 crit rate on xingqiu and xiangling.
I didn't want to make him feel bad though so I just said the shield requirements were extra hard this time around. then I went "uhh do you mind if I level some of your artifacts" and he was like "yeah I don't care"
about 2 hours retrying chamber 2 later (with mobile controls on my tablet btw), I finally did got the last star. he felt bad it took so long but when he got c6 wanderer, he was so happy. 100% worth it.

Xingqiu's burst makes shield breaking a bunch faster and you didn't use it sometimes on the electro lectors but that was an interesting 36 star

also Hoyo: Hydro breaks the Abyss Lector's shield faster than Geo and Anemo.

@@hlonghi electro also can't break electro hypothesis and also besides the application, lector shields take normal dmg so even physical dmg breaks them

I wonder why you didn't stick to floor 12-2 with International side 2 and Arle side 1 for chamber 2 only. The cryo shield only needs 4U of pyro to bring it down so using Arle CA + NA with fischl should make it fall almost instantly.
I invested so much resin in Arlecchino its not even fun to remember. I'm very very far from getting a perfect set but this abyss I could do the Magu Assholes in around 30-ish seconds (depending on RNG). It really opened my eyes about 5 star weapons, especially tailor-made ones like Arles. (I'm C0R1)
I was one of those "you only need the 4-star R5 stans". Yeah, for some characters vertical investment goes a long way. If you have skill issue like me I'd say.
signature weapons especially for hypercarries can often be a very noticeable clear increase! 👍
I mean it depends on how much damage the character does in their team, if they contribute a big percentage like arlecchino they’re noticeable upgrades. The genshin scientist did a great video on this.
I agree with your take, i too am aware of my skill issue so i also opted into vertical investment in some of my teams and got some 5 star weapons despite being f2p, a lot of time, consideration and thought was made before making those investment though afterall its no joke to pour those primos saved for months on weapon banner which is considered a scam by many haha

That's why Ayaka is inconsistent in the meta. She's a good unit and has a good team but when the content doesn't allow it, it becomes a big struggle. Especially at low investment (all c0) and minimum vertically like all 5-star wp or none. Unlike top meta dps right now who can brute force content even soloing with no vertical investment.
All they had to do is pull a Neuvillette, preferably C1 and they are chilling for until end of Natlan before the next dps powercreep
Judging from the numbers of dps released in Fontaine, Natlan is likely going to release newer support that will powercreep the current ones like Bennet pro max and Kazuha pro max, Xiangling pro max

Had been using C1R1 Neuvillette to solo every single abyss from release until the current one where there’s a need for breaking cryo shield in both side(12-2-1, 12-3-2)
But just simply bring in Bennet or full ER Xiangling to play duo
