Congratulations! Here is the single best piece of advice I can offer as a father of three: Always remember what it was like to be a child and have no control over your own life. Its amazing how few parents seem to do this, though given Chris' background he will probably find this much easier than most! It really helps you relate when the kids tantrum because they didn't want pasta for dinner or something. Give them choices: it builds up their confidence and helps avoid melt downs, even if in their eyes they're just picking the option they hate the least. Good luck!

I mean she was supposed to find someone better than me right? (Well at least someone better than me in the things I thought were important).. Well she also got an ectopic pregnancy thing... Standard Bryan was a no show.. and I answer the texts and went see her... cause she was feeling bad and long story short I had to pay for the hospital and carry her with internal bleeding in my car in mid pandemic crisis.. I even got white hairs from the whole experience... And later she end up finding another tatooed cool brad. I sometimes feel bad like what did I did to her cause she changed... Anyways women arent always the victims. Pregnancy is a real bastard experience, nothing is certain and people only feed on hopes and dreams... Im beyond trusting people or just hoping for the best.. life sometimes just screws you

Yeah absolutely. My partner suffers from PCOS aswell and we're at the point of discussing families. I found this very insightful of what can happen and that it's ok to be worried. Obviously as men we don't have this conversation and go so long thinking pregnancies are straightforward so I definitely appreciate this video.

Congratulations to you all. When my first child was born although I was over the moon I kept looking at myself in the mirror thinking 'you're somebody's, dad'. It made me grin but it really didn't seem real. Couldn't get my head round it. I have two kids now and I love being a dad so much that sometimes when they shout 'dad' I pretend I haven't heard so I hear them shout 'dad' again.

I'm still watching and I'm very sorry to hear about the fertility difficulties. My wife and I have been experiencing the same difficulties since getting married in 2012. We're gearing up for our 3rd attempted IVF transfer after giving up for a few years. I definitely understand the emotional toll that can take on both partners. I'm sending you both hugs through the screen. I already said I was happy for you but now I'm happy crying for you both.
It's a tough road. I know a couple that did three rough attempts before success, having two kids via ivf and said this is enough. Next year they had a naturally occurring surprise baby. 😂
@@catbertz Our journey mirrored Chris and Sam's as far as genetic testing and everything. We had 5 survive testing and are about to try with our 3rd. My wife had polyps that requires surgery which pushed back any hopes of our first transfer 6 months. Now that we are emotionally ready to try again, she's gotta go through all the lab work again to make sure nothing that like has came up again since our last attempt. Hoping for the best in 2022. Appreciate you sharing!

Much love to you all! I have PCOS and insulin resistance as well, and it was a long hard road to get pregnant because I only ovulate 2-3 times a year, so most of the time it wasn't even possible. And now we have two great kiddos . So enjoy your littles! It's a crazy thing, this parenting gig.

Yeah absolutely. My partner suffers from PCOS aswell and we're at the point of discussing families. I found this very insightful of what can happen and that it's ok to be worried. Obviously as men we don't have this conversation and go so long thinking pregnancies are straightforward so I definitely appreciate this video.

It’s so crazy seeing where Chris is at now because I remember watching him since 2014 when his review of Edge of Tomorrow came out and watching him since then because his love of movies was something I could relate to since it was the same time I started loving movies just as much as him. I know exactly what you mean. Some of the changes have been for the better tho I will say that, but yeah I didn't really notice how different our daughter looked month to month till earlier today when I looked through the picture books I was wrapping for Christmas presents to family.

Congratulations to you all. When my first child was born although I was over the moon I kept looking at myself in the mirror thinking 'you're somebody's, dad'. It made me grin but it really didn't seem real. Couldn't get my head round it. I have two kids now and I love being a dad so much that sometimes when they shout 'dad' I pretend I haven't heard so I hear them shout 'dad' again.

The true "Dad feeling" kicks in about 3 years after your first child. It takes a while to realize your life is fundamentally different and now includes the kids too. I'm really glad you two are okay after such a difficult pregnancy.

I'm still watching and I'm very sorry to hear about the fertility difficulties. My wife and I have been experiencing the same difficulties since getting married in 2012. We're gearing up for our 3rd attempted IVF transfer after giving up for a few years. I definitely understand the emotional toll that can take on both partners. I'm sending you both hugs through the screen. I already said I was happy for you but now I'm happy crying for you both.
It's a tough road. I know a couple that did three rough attempts before success, having two kids via ivf and said this is enough. Next year they had a naturally occurring surprise baby. 😂
@@catbertz Our journey mirrored Chris and Sam's as far as genetic testing and everything. We had 5 survive testing and are about to try with our 3rd. My wife had polyps that requires surgery which pushed back any hopes of our first transfer 6 months. Now that we are emotionally ready to try again, she's gotta go through all the lab work again to make sure nothing that like has came up again since our last attempt. Hoping for the best in 2022. Appreciate you sharing!

Much love to you all! I have PCOS and insulin resistance as well, and it was a long hard road to get pregnant because I only ovulate 2-3 times a year, so most of the time it wasn't even possible. And now we have two great kiddos . So enjoy your littles! It's a crazy thing, this parenting gig.
