What a perfect example of what Chrysler used to be able to produce.
I couldn’t agree with you more. The 1969-1973 Chrysler Corporation “fuselage” vehicles were the finest in design. 50 years later they of course look retro, but their simplistic lines still look modern. I once had a 69 Newport and two things I won’t forget….the torsion bars gave the smoothest and most quiet ride and the air conditioning was so cold that you would be shivering as you drove.
@@MrScottie68 cold Air-conditioning in Florida was such a damn treat, by jove it was the finest thing to come back to. Of course we had a iridescent Autumn red pallet on a 1974 Mercury, all the wonderful necessities, and a beautiful wonderful fast effective economy automobile.
Electronic Ignition, Torsion Bars, and Unibody
@@fourpoint64 don't forget 4 wheel disc brakes with anti-lock control as an option. WAY ahead of their time...
Keeping a car in this immaculate condition for so long deserves a pad on the back and a handshake well done.
I wish I can park this dream in my garage, but as it works in the business world - money talks! So I hope she's in good hands.
Imperial ....she is a big girl ....I owned a 65 classic...2dr Coupe......this is Chrysler's ultimate ride.... Caddy's rival along with Lincoln...back in the day....these 3 ruled USA roads....all Queen Bee's.....total power and luxury
My neighbor, when I was a little boy, had this very car. Same color.
Out of EVERY car, you can't get any bigger than this! Good luck taking turns or parking with this monster!
Yes, it was produced by the Chrysler Corporation, but Imperial was a make of its own 1955-1975, so this is an Imperial LeBaron.
Just the way you don't say Ford Lincoln or GM Cadillac...
I worked on a chrysler lot in 73 washing cars. I Want any of them.
Pretty nice looking car for that age.
I have heard the term down-sizing, so I guess this would be up-sizing 😆
That is the longest car of any American car ever made.
I like the oil pressure gauge.
Hello ladies and gungi, I'm from Europe from the Baltic, Latvia, and I own this beauty 73 dada release! This is yet the presidential machine, and not in vain for President Ronald Reagan, the inaguration in 1981 was Iperial LeBaron's maine, which shows the status of a car when Iperial was a direct competitor to Lincolnam, Cadillak, while the Indian Indian of the Chreisler plant made one mistake, which referred to the prestige of the brand, and it was made in the end. a didn't go so well in the sale! Where was the stumbling stone that was to be used from the roof of the model Nuwport, the door, the rear trunk, which was no longer so prestigious for people! I love this car as it is, and I can't sell it anyway, there won't be any more!
Vairāki valodu rīki vienuvie
In the mid 90s, we would buy cars like this for about $150. We would get them ready to be in the yearly demo derby, where the winner recieved $100. It was so much fun.
A beauty!!
That’s the longest American production car coming in at 235 inches long!!!
Absolute monster that makes even Ford Panther platform cars look small.
Id love a car like that.
They need to make cars this big again
For you and I, yes. Sadly, the money isn't there for automakers with sedans. All the profits are in SUVs and crossovers.
The problem here is that I don't have time for a second job to afford the gas.
What happens when you take a big comfortable flagship of a car and combine that with roadrunner acceleration you have the Chrysler imperial.
"...and check out why the headlight door mechanisms don't work."
I knew a guy whose parents had one of these in black on black!
My dad's was a dark pine green with matching leather interior, with the black vinyl top...I remember comfortably falling asleep in the backseat with my siblings on the drive home from Christmas midnight mass....That car was big, warm, and very comfy, lol
Imperial LeBaron by Chrysler Corp
Fine Corinthian Leather!
just like mine😮
Só carroes da hora amigo gostei 👍👍👍
Nice boat
If I had the money I'd buy that them cars are just dying off day by day one of the last years of a good Mopar
Wow!
Ah yes. The car that requires two parallel parking spots
The longest passenger car ever made. (Limo's don't count.)
I bet it is good on gas too.
Fancy
That's a "72"...the 73s had little rubber bumper guards on the front and rear bumpers
That's not gold that's Beige
Do you still have vehicle for sale.
Came with its own zip code...
Where are the backup lights?
above the licence plate
Those front seats are not the original leather 🤦🏻♂️
Too bad they were redone in cheap vinyl.
Its a rust Mobil it should cost 800 dollars
