You know this song helped my realize the similarities between Sam and Vergil. They both gave up something (Vergil's humanity and Sam's sense of justice). They also both became a puppet of something (Vergil of Mundus and Sam of Armstrong). They also both get beaten by someone who inherits something from them (Nero and the Sparda legacy and Raiden and Murasama). There are so many more I can probably find but it's very cool. This song is also an absolute banger and you did amazing work.

You can't exactly compare a single piece of a character's 30+ moveset turned into a random waifu with a robot girl who was built specifically to be a reference and have nearly the same moveset as the original. Kinda unfair, innit? That's like saying Raiden is more like Big Boss rather than Solid Snake because he hid in a box.

This is one of the best mixes I've ever heard. The sheer creativity you've displayed with those instrumentals is mindblowing, and the transitions between phases feel incredibly natural, except for the intro to that fourth phase, which was just truly powerful. Even the background felt flawless. All in all, I think you're beyond the point of sounding good just because you're mixing good songs. Now, you make the songs look good. Amazing work, Tyrus.

(For those who have been following my comments, considered this the next entry in what I call "The Guided Blades Saga") It was a ferocious duel, as the heavens roared and the earth trembled both men where prepared to give up the ghost in what may perhaps be their finest hour. Vergil was surprised and yet impressed that his adversary, near 100% unaltered human was matching him blade to blade. Sam had to admit he never imagined himself crossing blades with what is in essence a demonic demigod, but far be it from him to turn down a challenge. No words where exchanged during the duel, best leave that to their blades, the Yamato and Murasama. After what must of been hours, both steadied themselves for what would be there final clash, their companions who travelled with them watched on in silence... Vergil: "I will admit, across all the worlds I have been to, never had I meet someone who could push Yamato to its limit as you. You are indeed worthy as my opponent". Sam: "I could say the same, Son of Sparda, Murasama never felt this hot in my hands before now. But I think we've long since passed the time for words". The cool wind of destruction seethe his blade, readying one last quickdraw, a smirk crossing his face Vergil: "hm, very well "Jetstream Sam" Vergil form is the enveloped as he unleashes Sin Devil Trigger and sheaves his blade as well "show me your motivation" They then rush forward, the wind hollowing in there is as right when they where mere inches from each other, the blades rushed to their hands and collided together. A flash of fire and thunder erupted and left all there witnesses from the sheer awesomeness of their might. As the light dissipated it was both men where on there knees, left drained of everything they had. and despite this duel being a drawn, both men felt satisfied by the result. As they rose to their feet and sheathed their blades, Sam looked at the cambion and offered his hand in respect, Vergil heisted for but a moment and took it, returning the gesture in kind. After recovering from their duel decided to they would continue their journeys together, as Vergil has heard whispers of a "One-Winged Angel" who Vergil believes would be their greatest challenge to improve their skills with a blade. Sam, for his part, was glad that he could find someone who was in many ways walking the same path as him. As Vergil cut another path between spacetime he looked backed at the samurai, his eyes asking one simple question "do you believe you are worthy" Sam didn't respond with words, but his gripped on his sword tightened, affirming his answer. Vergil smiled and began marching into the ethereal pathway, with Sam and their collective ensemble following suit, heading to wherever their next adversary awaits. If you somehow read through all that, I hope you enjoyed the read and look forward to more mixes soon form the 3rd Son of Sparda, Tyrus.
Okay, so I know for a fact that this had to be hard as fuck to make. After all the songs are vastly different from one another and the only thing I know for real doesn't have as much to work with like bury the light does so there has to have been a challenge to make each phase stand out despite the difference in length between songs. So I'm sorry to say that a bit of the fast phase sorta felt like trying to mash two off beat songs at once, but by the end of it and by the beginning of phase 1 it started to pick up with me and I started to love the balance of lyrics with the opposing beats. Then the last phase caught me by surprise. The beats of those drums transitioning perfectly in a near perfect mash between these two badasses' themes. Now that's the strength and power I was looking for. This is at the end of the day, a sick ass track that I feel was worth the wait.👍 Also a little suggestion for funsies, why not try remixing some of the Ultrakill ost. Mainly Minos Prime's theme or Act 2 Gabriel's theme. Just a suggestion, take that as you will. 👏

Honestly, I thought this wasn't going to be it when it started... But... I was so wrong- this immediately became one of my favorite mashups and I wish there was more of it. I'm glad that I stuck around with it and listened to the whole thing regardless. I discovered this on my birthday yesterday and while it may've not been intentional, it was immediately one of the best gifts I got that day.

This is one of the best mixes I've ever heard. The sheer creativity you've displayed with those instrumentals is mindblowing, and the transitions between phases feel incredibly natural, except for the intro to that fourth phase, which was just truly powerful. Even the background felt flawless. All in all, I think you're beyond the point of sounding good just because you're mixing good songs. Now, you make the songs look good. Amazing work, Tyrus.

I honestly didn't think this would end up well, but as it progressed I saw how this truly is art
(For those who have been following my comments, considered this the next entry in what I call "The Guided Blades Saga")
It was a ferocious duel, as the heavens roared and the earth trembled both men where prepared to give up the ghost in what may perhaps be their finest hour. Vergil was surprised and yet impressed that his adversary, near 100% unaltered human was matching him blade to blade. Sam had to admit he never imagined himself crossing blades with what is in essence a demonic demigod, but far be it from him to turn down a challenge. No words where exchanged during the duel, best leave that to their blades, the Yamato and Murasama. After what must of been hours, both steadied themselves for what would be there final clash, their companions who travelled with them watched on in silence...
Vergil: "I will admit, across all the worlds I have been to, never had I meet someone who could push Yamato to its limit as you. You are indeed worthy as my opponent".
Sam: "I could say the same, Son of Sparda, Murasama never felt this hot in my hands before now. But I think we've long since passed the time for words". The cool wind of destruction seethe his blade, readying one last quickdraw, a smirk crossing his face
Vergil: "hm, very well "Jetstream Sam" Vergil form is the enveloped as he unleashes Sin Devil Trigger and sheaves his blade as well "show me your motivation"
They then rush forward, the wind hollowing in there is as right when they where mere inches from each other, the blades rushed to their hands and collided together. A flash of fire and thunder erupted and left all there witnesses from the sheer awesomeness of their might. As the light dissipated it was both men where on there knees, left drained of everything they had. and despite this duel being a drawn, both men felt satisfied by the result. As they rose to their feet and sheathed their blades, Sam looked at the cambion and offered his hand in respect, Vergil heisted for but a moment and took it, returning the gesture in kind.
After recovering from their duel decided to they would continue their journeys together, as Vergil has heard whispers of a "One-Winged Angel" who Vergil believes would be their greatest challenge to improve their skills with a blade. Sam, for his part, was glad that he could find someone who was in many ways walking the same path as him. As Vergil cut another path between spacetime he looked backed at the samurai, his eyes asking one simple question "do you believe you are worthy" Sam didn't respond with words, but his gripped on his sword tightened, affirming his answer. Vergil smiled and began marching into the ethereal pathway, with Sam and their collective ensemble following suit, heading to wherever their next adversary awaits.

Never expected this come from the one and only Tyrus Sparda but I am not complaining about this powerful remix
Okay, so I know for a fact that this had to be hard as fuck to make. After all the songs are vastly different from one another and the only thing I know for real doesn't have as much to work with like bury the light does so there has to have been a challenge to make each phase stand out despite the difference in length between songs. So I'm sorry to say that a bit of the fast phase sorta felt like trying to mash two off beat songs at once, but by the end of it and by the beginning of phase 1 it started to pick up with me and I started to love the balance of lyrics with the opposing beats. Then the last phase caught me by surprise. The beats of those drums transitioning perfectly in a near perfect mash between these two badasses' themes. Now that's the strength and power I was looking for. This is at the end of the day, a sick ass track that I feel was worth the wait.👍
Also a little suggestion for funsies, why not try remixing some of the Ultrakill ost. Mainly Minos Prime's theme or Act 2 Gabriel's theme. Just a suggestion, take that as you will. 👏

Honestly, I thought this wasn't going to be it when it started... But...
I was so wrong- this immediately became one of my favorite mashups and I wish there was more of it. I'm glad that I stuck around with it and listened to the whole thing regardless. I discovered this on my birthday yesterday and while it may've not been intentional, it was immediately one of the best gifts I got that day.
