Thank you for sharing your upgrades John. The additional lighting turned out great. I do agree that sliver or chrome paint would do a better job at preventing the light leakage without compromising the light intensity
Looks great got to do my i have DCC and DC trains i want to do something to my DC trains i this video has got me thinking about doing just that.ps keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing! The TSU-KN1 is also a practical alternative but this installation is also good in case the user wants to switch to an ESU Micro decoder in the future. The TSU-N18 I have a feeling will also be a hit with Scaletrains and Rapido N scale installs.
I cannot find the third installment of this series in you video list. Can you post a link to the video as I am also instaling lighting in my passenger cars and would like to see how you did it. Thanks!
Hi Anthony that is still under development. I have one of the cars lit up but have not decided if I want to light all of them the same way. There are also kits by Kato that are pretty easy to use, and the cars come with the electrical pickups installed from the factory. If you're looking for an easy way to light em up that's the one.
Nice, Wish we could of heard the engine sounds a little more not saying that there was too many bells and whistles LOL!!!! ( hey john what do you about using "n" decoders for certain ho models? ) thanks
@@tsgmultimedia Thank you very much John, I found the speaker at Digikey and enclosures by Wutter Vehicles and Details from Shapeways. Love your videos, great work, vbery informational.
Very good and great work John. You truly are a inspiration to me and many more modelers. Thank you for sharing your art with us all.
I'm pretty much doing the same with with an HO Athearn P42, great install and love the use of cutting edge decoder technology !

Man! That thing is loud!
The key to soldering is prep. Always clean with some scotch brite and use flux, that's it.

John, where did you get the 8mm x 12mm speaker you used, do you have a part number?
I don't remember. I think that was from Digikey.
