Carcass are the most exquisit bunch of guys I ever met in metal. They NEVER acted like the biggest Death metal band in the history of metal. Always nice and friendly, and I as the promotor of this croatian show can say that this was surely one of the best day in my life (+ the gig in Florence 2 years later).
Metal is quite big in Croatia. There's a TV show that's aired at like 7.30 on week evenings! Features the big name stuff but also more underground bands, if not local. Awesome.
@ReapersShredder It was interesting when we were driving from the venue to the hotel that afternoon, there were Ken, Bill and Mike and me, and Mike asked me how far is the first combat line, I told him that it was about 100 km of air-line, he was pretty much worried about..hahaha...

Carcass wearing Faith No More shirts, and Faith No More wearing Carcass shirts, is one of the best things about the early 1990s.
Cool. Faith No More used to wear Carcass-shirts in 92 and here we have Carcass with a Faith No More-shirt. As a fanboy I enjoys small stuff like this.
I remember seeing Faith No More around that time and they had Napalm Death as openers because L7 bailed out.
Which member?
I swear metal is the best concert music. There is no other type of music that evokes so much raw energy.
Bill Steer! 😍😍😍
I know Mike Amott is Swedish and moved to England in 1990; but he has the most English accent I have ever heard!
His dad is British

Am I the only one here who can't get over how young Michael Amott looks?!
they played in 1992 when it was war in croatia,i think that gave the concert a special atmosphere
Thank you for uploading this!
LOL Jeff at 2:55, he was such a playboy back then :)
If the 54 year old version of him is interested in chubby redhead girls in their 40s I'll be happy! 😂
@@LittleMissGrosserI am interested
Bill's too gentleman for a goregrind band.....😆😍🐾

Why isn't this available in 1080p?!
Kevin wearing FNM t-shirts, thats good music tastes baby! Rock On!
What bass did Jeff use here?
i met erlandson at jonny rockets before the show, got a pic with muhammed from necrophagist too. all at florida death fest.
Anyone know which drum pedal is shown at 0:11?
Interesting to see Amott here. And then he goes on to be the greatest songwriter in all of metal.
🤣
@KrustynailsVideo Same in Norwegian ;)
To me that depends. It's hardly the most raw brutal thing going, bands like SWANS made a lot of metal bands look like wimpy poseurs.
Necroticism Era RULES!
Thomy SENF!!! :D
@Trippinhighman Inpropagation (first from Necroticism)
Bill miss you in napalm death
Wtf!!!
@SmileAtMyAss good question - and the answer is...
