I had a Hangstrom back in the 80's and love that guitar. Very comfortable playing guitar. I did not know they were still in business. Will have to check this one out.
China, but with the same specification that are logo of the Hagstrom family. Trust me. You cant miss if you buy one of those guitars. They are amazingly made.
Great review! First demo I have seen of a Hagstrom that was more playing than talking. I just picked up a swede gold top off ebay for little over 400 bucks, new. I am pretty excited to get it.
Hey PGS, could you guys do a demo of a Hagstrom Viking, sometime? love your vids, guys! and of course, Andy/Scotty/Burgs are all BEASTS. Rock On, gentlemen!
Are you going to make a video with the Super Swede? Just saw a picture of it in my e-mail. Awesome looking, But do 3 humbuckers really bring that much more?
i have a Gibson Les Paul 60's Tribute and I think that this Hag sounds better. I also like Hagstrom's headstock way better...and the fretboard with block inlays is much more likable that the the trapezoid inlays on the Gib. HAGSTROMS RULE
although i love this version of war pigs (and of course, the original) i play this song with a more heavy distortion. try to kick some gain to Sabbath songs, its worth it
@FreakyraymanNOTOW Actually, Andy is closer to the right tone. Just go back and listen to the original version of War Pigs and you'll see while he's using a bit more higher gain it's not that far from what Andy demonstrates here. It's strait tube saturation from a cranked tube amp. Vintage Rock N Roll tone all the way!!!
personally, i never liked the necks on these guitars. neck was a little to beefy, while the radius was a little small. i love the tone, just not diggin' the neck.

LOVE ME TWO TIMES!! The headstock shape really brings the look of the guitar together.
Just about any Vid Andy does I could (and often do) listen to dozens of times.
Thank you for finally giving a wide audience a view of Hagstrom guitars!!!!! I've got a Super Swede myself and it's my number one forever!
That intro was orgasmic. Of the best PGS demo's I've seen in a while, on a really awesome guitar!
Sabbath, Doors, Black Crowes! God almighty that sounded good. Tony, Robbie and Rich give this ax their approval. Nice demo Andy.
Ah, Wiser Time. Andy, you're a man after my heart. I absolutely love that song.
And now I need this guitar. Damn.
Andy has such a distinct sound... SO GOOD!
Fantastic playing as usual Andy! That's an interesting guitar.
Hagstrom makes me want to climb into my Longboat and raid a guitar shop!
So pumped that you're doing Hags now!
Beautiful guitar, great playing!
That Sabbath tone and even the riffs in Warpigs reminds me of Gruntruck's song " Crucifunkin' ".
Andy awesome job with the Sabbath!!!!!
I wish I could finger pick like that. Just fantastic.

Love this guitar!

Love this P90S two times babe!

As stated in previous recent videos, when will we be seeing some more amp reviews? Just wondering. Keep kickin ass guys!
Hagstrom, nice.
love a bit of sabbath in the morn
Trying to decide if I like the headstock shape or not, but the rest of the guitar looks sweet.
0:50 seconds awesome
I think it's funny that someone tried to tell andy how to have his tone set up for their professional demos.
the doors! yes!
Are you going to make a video with the Super Swede?
Just saw a picture of it in my e-mail. Awesome looking, But do 3 humbuckers really bring that much more?
WISER TIME!!!! thank u i mean it!!!
@Ven9512 i know that he plays it with the right tone, I like to play Sabbath with a higher gain sound

What's the song at 2:50?
Btw very nice sound!!!
LOVE ME TWO TIMES GIIIIIIIIRRRRRRLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!
So will you be dealing the Northern Swedes too?
Do you like the pickup selector being on the lower bout of the guitar as opposed to the top like most Les Paul's?
that's good sunflower
War Pigs & Love Me Two Times FTW!
Aww, yeah, my favourite Sabbath song :3
Could you review the EU-made Hagström Northen Series?
hey Andy how do you produce pinch harmonics with using only your fingers?
although i love this version of war pigs (and of course, the original) i play this song with a more heavy distortion. try to kick some gain to Sabbath songs, its worth it
I wish there were more guitars with soapbars that had strat style trems. Anyone know of any?
Thx for the black crowes woooooooowww
THE DOORS!!!
Want!
I wish they'd bring back the Deluxe F Tremar, albeit with better pickups.
Love me two times I'm going awaaaaaaay
What's the difference between those pick ups and say a JB/59?
Does it sustain well? Its kind of a less paul replica so im just wondering if it sustains alike
Where are these made now?
Do a northern swede!
wiser for the time
@BSSchumacher wiser time by the black crowes
More Amp Demos?!?!
Teach me to tremolo pick like that? Please?
Black Crowes!
@g1bson76lp Totally agree. And as we know he has the best job in the whole world....
which weight has this guitar ?
I would go and see Andy Fromproguitarshopdotcom in concert.
This guitars are made in Korea or USA?

I know their "Northern Series" is made in Europe.
WAAAAAAARRRRRR PIIIIIGGGGSSSSS
@ProGuitarShopDemos i didnt phrase my comment right, it was a general tip for everyone. btw, play more heavy stuff on your reviews :P
I think they are made in Sweden
Cool, but 779$ for a made in China guitar seems a bit much.
They are good value in Europe, but apparently not so much in the States.

779 and it only has a veneer :(
black sabbath
