Such clean fingernails for a mechanic! I guessed NC, and I was right! I don't know how. I'm in Boulder, Colorado...Never been there, or anywhere near. I guess it was the subtle accent and the nice little town. I've electrified a Chinese cruiser with 29 inch wheels. It's like a giant version of this. The chain keeps popping off, the motor is too powerful. I've ordered a 22 tooth with an offset to bring it in better alignment. We'll see. The removal of the sprocket was surprisingly easy, but I wouldn't have known how without You.
well i made a motorized bicycle that's using 36t wide set cranks and 14t freewheel (i have modified it to have disc brakes and probably worth it.) and still haven't been able to deal with The pedaling issues. I'm probably going to see what's a recommended setup but seeing this, probably going to get my 44t set and probably use the same setup you have there.
No way... no idea how I didn't know Ike has his own channel!! Been watching him on Cats And Cameras for years, now!!!! Hopefully I get to meet you in person one day.. feels like I already know Isaac!!!
Love that little universal tire wrench. Do you have a part name for that? How did the customer like it? A common recommendation seems to be 2 to 1 ratio for a 26" wheel. Nice to know it's easy to change out that rear sprocket.
I probably would have checked the front wheel nuts, the stem bolt, and the seat post while I was there given that the rear wheel nuts were loose. Great how to on a reasonably simple job.
Yes. A caliper brake goes on easily but performs poorly. The best way is to find an old MTB bike with similar dimensions that has brake bosses and install V-brakes. Goodluck.👍
That is the other way. I chose this way because it put slightly less stress on the chain making the chain last longer. I could also get the job done a little quicker. It would have cost the customer the same. More labor for swaping the crank sprocket or buying a chain. Both ways work fine. It was just a flip of a coin and in this case the coin landed on heads.👍

I used a 23 tooth gear and it made all the difference. It was a gas motorized huffy cranbrook thats going electric.
Thanks for this video.
👍
I sold my vintage 1977 Schwinn breeze and my 1960's Murray men's beach cruiser the other day...
now onto the next restoration!!!!
Lovely video and guidance, thanks solo much for sharing!
Thank you👍

Ike does have his own channel. It's called Isaacit'llbefine. I'm his brother.👍

Great vid. Keep up the great work. Do you have merchandise?

I did. I just didn't film it.👍
@alloutbikes how tall are you? I'm 6'1 200 pounds and want to know if this bike would look too small on my frame. Thx
THIS IS A GREAT TOPIC FOR VIDEOS. GEAR RATIO.
could you put an even larger sprocket on the back than the one you put on this bike?
To my knowledge 23 tooth is the biggest I can get.
Is KMC you favorite chain?
For the most part. There are some times that Shimano is best for Shimano and Sram is best for Sram.👍
I have a 20 inch bicycle wheels on a 24 inch beach cruiser with milk crate setup for a daily driver More or less
a wonderful video. well worth the money?? oh that's right i watch for free. just have a few adds. i will see you next time stay well
Thanks.👍
Have you or anyone put a front hand brake on one of these bikes?
Yes. A caliper brake goes on easily but performs poorly. The best way is to find an old MTB bike with similar dimensions that has brake bosses and install V-brakes. Goodluck.👍
Gearing isn’t really a problem for me. I tend to install motor kits on mine. I can’t stop myself.
Out here they would try and charge 50 to 60 dollars for this simple job.
@@jackwoods535 On the moon.
Why not just change to a lower teeth crank plate? No need to buy another chain, just shorten it.
