I can’t even tell you this video made me feel🥺 I’m struggling to accept myself because all my life I’ve been told that only if I pursue engineering I’ll have a good life but I don’t really want that life and I want something else but I’m finding it so hard to tell my parents. I hope I get the courage soon and thank you for making me feel better for the time being ♥️
So you're telling me that, the belt strikes and flying chappals were not enough! Now, he has to do the most awkward thing he's ever done to me(hug me)?? - No thanks!...... But jokes apart, I now know what was wrong in my upbringing and my father's upbringing and my grandfather's upbringing.... Thanks to your lovely content I now know that he never loved me bcoz his father didn't love him and so on. But, now that I know it, it excites me bcoz I'm gonna do something none of my ancestors could ever do..... If, if I ever become worthy to be someone's dad, I'm gonna BREAK THIS CYCLE and love them, and hug them and play with them just the way they need!! Thanks for the this very useful video!!
Uncovered the deep messages! Now I can conclude that this is what happens in the lives of most of us. Doctor, engineer or disowned are the only three choices put to us by our fathers.
Could you tell me what that is? I googled it but it was a bit non layman for me All I understood was "your condition is alright in _this_ situation" (am I close?)
@@anatine_banana_69 no lol.. okay fine let me tell you. It's the a topic of Carl rogger's theory of "conditional postive regard" this means that if someone's parents are expecting from there child to work in a certain condition is known as conditional postive regard. Which is wrong because parents shouldn't tell there kids to do things the way there parents want them to so like if you have seen Munna bhai mbbs you'll see the first scene in which awkward goat talked-about that sanjay Dutt's parents were expecting him to be a doctor which is a conditional postive regard
We accept you the way you are, Divija! This video is so important for all of us because somewhere we feel that we aren't able to fulfil the expectations of our parents and family and that's why we have self-doubts and anxiety.. I an glad, you made this video and tbh, we (babygoats) loveeee the way you are, you make us feel that we don’t have to be perfect in everything :)
"you can be happy and have a good life and respect even if you aren't a doctor" live example right here bruh you aint a doctor, but you're still respected so your statement is 1000% correct
My father hugs me whenever I feel low and that makes my day. He is very calm and supports me. I could not relate to this video neither could imagine myself in situations with strict parients. So I did not understand what your trying to tell
I couldnt really go past 4 minutes into the video coz this brought up stuff for me.. but... thank you so much for the video.. its always a lovely experience to watch your content (but sauce and maggi will always gross me out but to each his own and... if you can enjoy that hellish looking dish... more power to you) and.... be well
Bakri mata ki jai hon!
Jai jai Oreo mug cake!
i'm so close to just sending this video to my family group and writing "seekh lo kuch :)"
The fact that all the parent child relationship points were so brutally correct to me, i couldn't agree anymore!
Does anyone know how to add automatic english subtitles 😩😩😩
Hey ! Do you have an email where I can reach out to you ?
