      I invested 25 years in making musics/sounds and graphics, 14 years on UA-cam. Created another channel years ago for niche = same low stats. I'm still at nowhere where i started. I can tell now i worked/learned millions of hours for nothing. Now i'm at over the threshold with my health, and i have no more opportunities to continue for 30-100 views average. I see always new channels with similar content that i created, and they are flying in months without caring about anything, tags or SEO. 8-20K followers in 6 months and 10-150K views on videos. My seo scores are 100 at most of my videos, no any positive effect just takes lot of time to setup. So all what i can tell you and anybody who read this. WISHING YOU BETTER LUCK 🍀🤞

    • @bbreak
      @bbreak Рік тому +5

      @Tranmaart I'm sorry to hear that... it unfortunately is what youtube became. With great, authentic content you get nowhere. It's all about pleasing the algorithm... and the algorithm loves seeing the same things over and over and over. That's why many creative creators are leaving the last months and more will follow. Vidiq doesn't get it, most people here don't get it. And the few that do (me included) get laughed at...
      In the meantime I did grow from 500 to 1.6k subs in a month by abandoning nearly everything Vidiq had taught me... I found a way to make the algorithm think I'm posting the same old, boring content while actually posting authentic, unique content... Not sure how far this will take me. But for now it's paying off

    It took me about 2-3 months to reach 1,000 subscribers. My advice to any small channel is to find the right niche and create content that resonates with your audience. Stay consistent with your uploads, and eventually, it will pay off. These days, I don't even focus on gaining tons of subscribers anymore. I’ve found joy in editing, exploring my niche, and experimenting with videos that I enjoy making. If they do well, that’s a bonus! Keep going-you’ve got this!💪

    Starting new channel on UA-cam can be really tough, so I knew I couldn't afford to waste months trying to get noticed by just a handful of people. Instead of spending months to get few hundred subscribers, I found a shortcut to get noticed early and I got myself first 1000 subs (by using a bit of Famester of course). Once that happened, my main channel blow up, and I realized that people tend to focus on numbers when searching for content. Having a low subscriber count often means being overlooked, even if your content is top-notch...

    • @Bexks
      @Bexks Рік тому +4

      That’s so true about the subscriber count as I’m guilty of that myself unless they really stand out. I was thinking if I started a channel and I’d like your opinion on this, that before I put content out there that I’d make about 5-10 videos first and then create my channel and then upload a few of them so I at least have content to release for a few days/weeks and have time to make more content whilst those videos are being uploaded. I’m not sure I explained my idea very well. I hope you understand what I mean?? If so, what do you think?

      @@Bexks Hi Bex, this is exactly what i have done. I spent the month of January travelling and since i came home i have started a channel, i have enough footage for about 14-15 videos. I'm going to upload 1 video every week which will give me lots of time to shoot some new stuff. Uploaded my first video 2 day's ago and so far it's had 50 views, pretty happy with that for my first time. Looking forward to the next few weeks and months to see how many views and subscribers i can get. Good luck to you too

      I’m a bit confused now…..you mean you guys are happy to have 50 views, not subscribers?
      I must admit that I haven’t seen many channels from the beginning how they grow, how long it takes to become noticeable but during the Jonny Depp and Amber Heard trial when Amber made claims that JD assaulted her and it was so brutal that he broke this edge of their bed as he was attacking her. Naturally the photo of the bed and the alleged damage was presented to the judge, jury and the courtroom cameras for the whole world to see if.
      What follows was quite brilliant as even I myself was able to look at the evidence photo and see that the damage to the wooden frame couldn’t have been done the way Amber claimed but I had no intention of analysing or explaining it to anyone. Luckily, there was someone who had more motivation and enthusiasm and happened to be a practicing lawyer and also a carpenter!
      So, this Canadian lawyer, put his sleeves up and took the whole thing into his carpentry workshop where he exhibited few different kinds of damages to a piece of wood that resembles JDs bed debunking Amber’s entire story. Obviously the whole carpenter blah blah was conducted in a very serious manner and appropriately described. He sent this experiment to one of those UA-cam legal commentary channels and the guy had thousands of subscribers in no time!
      I really think that, yes as you both said you need to have a decent number of ready to go videos but the first one must be one of those viral contents, there must be something that stands out. Before you post anything you need to test your product on your friends and family. You need to find out what people think about your content. To make sure you get the most honest feedback they must be anonymous. If you know exactly what is your message, what is it exactly you want to convey then it’s all about communicating it the way others will understand you. You can’t assume that people understand your intentions but you must check it out.
      I often take a part in Market Research. I am registered with a few National Marketing Research Companies that are focused on in-depth understanding of the customer’s experience from the moment their eyes are drawn to a particular product or how different demographics respond to the packaging, size, spot on a shelf, the way it’s promoted to adults if the main target audience are children.
      I remember years ago when for the first time Persil and Ariel detergent companies came up with this concept of pods. They were initially resembling a giant blue bubblegum that you simply shove down directly into your washing load and happy days! Each pod was containing a single measure of the liquid detergent that was secured by a transparent plastic like looking membrane that would dissolve into the water. The whole concept was sold on the premise that the pods would be environment safe, reduce the need for a plastic container and the usual blah blah.
      Now, the pods were evolving and I took part in this new research for which we were asked first to do a monthly diary on the individual households laundry routine. Obviously we participants only knew that it’s all about laundry and what kind of products we use for different materials. After our diary was finished we had 3 slots to attend, each different format: filling in a questionnaire before having a short one on one interview with a researcher. Looking back on the whole process after I became a scientist I can see that they were making sure only genuine participants were accepted into the final decision and that people didn’t make up their answers just to make money….these research projects are very well paid….the second time the session was a couple of hours, 10 women around a table, cameras, researchers behind a tinted glass screen and the interviewer with earphones and the rest. To adjust yourself to this space the organisers had an entire table laid out for us were the top quality fresh coffee was brewing releasing this powerful coffee aroma so unusual to experience in a city where people are rushing to work, mostly buying coffee from the usual chains.
      Numerous research has shown that if we offer people a hot drink rather than cold (job interviews, appraisal, conferences etc) they are more likely to feel more comfortable and trusting than if we offer them just a cold beverage. I’m not talking about Honduras or Antarctica. The point is that I was happy to sit with a group of total strangers, talk about such a silly topic as two compartment pods of detergent and I sincerely put myself in this task because the coffee, the food that was brought to us, plus drinks at the end and present bags subconsciously made us feel grateful for such treat at least I can throw myself into the task and give back….
      My biggest challenge is to find a good enough reason for why would anyone want to hear me out or what do I know to be of interest to others? Just by applying logic, common sense and honesty…any content creators, any single person in the world can come up with something that will attract around 50 000 people from different places. Responsibility is great and it’s brilliant because everyone has to take responsibility for their own content, respect others, push out of the box as there’s no big scary Woolf out there, only the truth and the true democracy.
      You can’t parrot about democracy yet behave most undemocratic. Imagine if California decides to be an independent nation and Mexico gets back its territories, democracy is not just on paper but you demonstrate that democracy means that you have to hear every voice. What is in the modern world know amongst the old British colonies developed into the industrial consumerist warmongering slavery globalising, what those fragments of the society amongst themselves keep referring to as DEMOCRACY Is to me who very well understands the very roots of the foundations on which the modern world has been built but in the U.S. you have people from all over the world, most of whom don’t know that the First Nations Peoples do exist and live on the very same soil as you in their reservations. You have federation of 51 state and you have every possible hypocrisy, contradiction, bigotry, poverty, Amish, Sister-wives, school shootings, transgender, celebrity worshippers, demented president and 1st son is a crack head….what a nation and whom to chose to address and open up your soul? I digress but that’s the point
