MULTISTAR employs a revolutionary damping concept, which comprises three spindle shafts bolted into a floating central star, which connects them all into a single unit, suspended in rubber dampers. In contrast to other 3-blade heads, this design brings some exciting advantages to the table:
•All blades flying in a single, well defined tip path plane
•Reduced coning and therefore disk area loss at high thrust levels
•Cyclic control remains in phase across the entire cyclic range
•Much more stable, well defined and linear flight feel
•Greater high speed stability
•Wide RPM range without wobbling, resonance or other kinds of shaking, perfect for styles ranging from smooth scale flying to hard 3D

The MULTISTAR 3-blade head also features a counterbalanced swashplate driver, reducing the vibration typically caused by an asymmetric swashplate driver layout to a minimum. Together with new, extended blade grips, which increase the disk area and enable convenient and complete blade folding, a dedicated 3-blade swashplate, and the RotorTech 362mm Triblade set (RT-360-3), MULTISTAR is a fully fledged triblade package for your M4, which you can just bolt on and fly without any further modification to the helicopter! Wow I really like the sound of this 3 blade head heli and how butter smooth it flies at 1800 rpm. The performance at 2500 rpm is impressive.... and you skills... well on another level!!

beautiful...i would think for the smaller less power models the three blade shows its full potential...i guess the gyroscopic stability effect is enhanced also. If i make it to heaven i hope to be able to fly a heli like you do. It looks very nice also......these helis are just getting better and better...well done for all your great efforts.
Couple questions: does the disk loading increase with this set up compared to stock?
Is this something that will be available for the Max?
And when will m4 max tail booms be available in the US?
I just got my max built and absolutely love it. I’m just afraid to crash right now with parts not being available.

1. With 362mm blades, obviously disk loading will be higher.
2. If you can find blades for it, you can also put the head on the MAX.

PS: The more helicopter manufacturers that offer a three-bladed main rotor system, the better.

Very Nice but I remember Jonas saying when someone put a 3 head-rotor ehad on their M2 that it was not worth it! Very nice anyway.
It depends entirely on whether you can find rotor blades optimized for it or not. There is no such thing for M2, but very much so for M4.
