Now she is known and loved by many people and have enough money to play in big halls. But the wonderful person inside her, she have never lost. She is nature. She isn`t a star far away. It takes courage to do everything on your own.
Most singers, especially female ones, accept to just turn in the the pretty face being told what to do by people who don't really care about your art. It might pay off in the short term, but you are turning into a marionette, a disposable one.
Doing what you really want and like, being yourself and doing what you actually feel, keeps you in touch with what you really are, instead morphing you into what a"fan base", lured in by a professional marketing team, will make of you.

First song that i heard from her was "SHE" and it was all what i needed at that time. Then I heard berlin blues and many of her songs, it touched my soul .. i wish i could hear her live, but she's so far away and hard to reach....
this might have just helped me write my essay on the philosophy of creativity, I really respect Phoebe Lou for her insight and intuiting mind. Its rare amongst creative artists.
