I agree but I'd also like to hear more guitar as acoustic brings an earthy feeling and tasteful, psychedelic electric guitar bits (not the kind of grating wall-of-sound electric that most modern rock bands use) adds energy. Sort of like what Beverley Martyn does on the live version of "Auntie Aviator," with the psych guitar coming in a taking the song to another plane and then dropping it back down.

After my first listen to Alice Phoebe Lou's songs I thought she might be like one of the thousand "indie" bands that popped up after mac demarco became famous. But now that I have listened more of her music I certainly know that this artist is very talented.She has great music, great orchestration and an even bigger talent at exciting and warming our souls.

This song reminded me of the era in which Covid struck us all in March. It reminds of the smell of Lavender and isolation. It reminds me of that feeling of stasis, hoping that nobody bothers you. To me where it felt like it was some kind of timeline split. Yet never would I have guessed it released THE day the world closed in on me and my friends. It's really beautiful but melancholic to me.
