- The future of aviation has taken an exhilarating turn with the unveiling of the US's groundbreaking hydrogen jet engine, a technology that is revolutionizing the capabilities of the SR-72 Darkstar aircraft. Hypersonic flight, once relegated to the realm of science fiction, is now a tangible reality, thanks to the convergence of cutting-edge propulsion technology and aeronautical innovation.
The SR-72 Darkstar, often shrouded in secrecy and speculation, has emerged as a game-changer in the world of aviation. With the integration of the US's new hydrogen jet engine, this aircraft is poised to redefine the boundaries of speed and performance. Hypersonic flight, characterized by speeds exceeding Mach 5 (five times the speed of sound), has long been the ultimate goal of aerospace engineers and military strategists. Now, with the fusion of hydrogen propulsion and the SR-72's sleek design, the skies have become the next frontier of supersonic achievement.

Tom Cruise's character would have been destroyed, not just killed, when the hypersonic jet rapidly disassembled at Mach 10. end of movie.
I thought the B1-B was the loudest jet ever till i heard two of these fly over my head in Florida. It's literally deafening!
The Osprey is crazy loud too
Learned a lot from the "Pratt & Whitney J58"! Saw one in Ohio, what a beast of an engine, wouldn't want the plumbing job.
"capable of withstanding temperatures above their melting point"???
Ummm, if it's above melting,
it melted.
Using technology that reduces “greenhouse gases” is not what the military should be concerned with. Improving the performance of their equipment should be what drives any change. If it happens to improve their social standing in circles where that matters, so be it. It’s not a platform for social experimentation but a mechanism to impose the will of our government on our opposition. When these objectives get reversed, the outcome will not be good for our enlisted sons and daughters.
Yeah buy hydrogen is more energy dense then per kilo then jetA plus given other things the navy has been up to it sounds more and more like they have been trying to get rid of or reduce tankers in the fleet.
Edit:
Increasing range is also always welcomed.
@@andrewyork3869 Yeah, Hydrogen has to be supercooled and specially stored and is INCREDIBLY dangerous no matter what state it is in. Nothing like increasing the volatility of a mission to the point you cant take a single stray bullet, shrapnel or object impact. Nothing like increasing the danger of a mission before you every encounter an enemy combatant. NO, it is NOT less volatile than jet fuel, it is much more volatile.
@troyezell5841 that was true 20 years ago. Look at liquid organic carriers. Yes, there are a few safer than hydrazine and ammonia. Notably, they are less flammable and toxic. Hydrogen adsorption has also been coming along, if at a slower pace.
You must signifikant Change your thinking about what you said!! People like you bring Is on those Points with only from one side that is not Future but American very difficult to explain anything to change at thinking!!!The normal American helps the rich quick build for Space so the Planet that People know in future is the only way to leave the Planet mabay but not the People who build that to leave🤣👍I like the Human it's very simple to manipulate and also decade after decade not better and much more laying but didn't Stop🤷
Very good knowledgeable video
Alguien me podrá decir si viene para Nintendo ??? Graciaaaas.
👍👍👍❤
A hydrogen engine would only be beneficial, if produced it's required hydrogen on it's own.
🔥🔥🔥MADE IN AMERICA USA !!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥
