No, he’s 5 years old, remember in season 2 Clementine was 11 when he was born, she’s now 16-17 which means that AJ is 5 years old; there’s an 11-12 year age gap between the two of them.
I mean he grew up in an apocalypse. the childhood we know isn't his childhood so obviously he would develop a different mental capacity for things. look at some of the kids in Iraq and Afghanistan, they basically lived the same childhood just without the zombies and they're like, yup that's life at the age of like 3, really scary if you see them getting interviewed on the news

Clementine is one of the best characters ever created. I watched her grow up. I saw her soul grab onto things and grow. And it was fucking beautiful. God bless TWDG.

I don't know why I miss Clementine and have that empty feeling after finishing the game. Her maturity when she saw the axe as the only option to die at the age of 16-17, her motherly comforts, all make me sad more. I don't know how many times I watched her last smile and her questioning "did I do a good job ?", Ofcourse you did. Clementine will be remembered forever in our hearts. God, I never thought I will be moved so much by a videogame character. God bless, the crew and telltale especially her voice actor. 😢

It works with Lee as a sad ending because we've known him for only 1 season and we know that Clem will end up okay. If they pull a stunt like that after 7 years of following her story, that would be a slap in the face

The line that always sticks with me at the end of Clementines story is when she asks AJ "did I do a good job?"
She's not his biological mother, but for all intents and purposes *is* his mother. She's been raising him since he was a newborn pretty much, and for her own time line, she's been raising him since she was like, twelve. She was still a little girl herself when she had to start raising him.
So her question of "did I do a good job" is incredibly poignant to me. It's a poignant question to be asked of any parental figure, but to me it's all the more poignant considering that Clementine had to become a parental figure at such a young age, at an age when she herself was searching for a parental figure to care for *her.*
I don't know, the entire question to me carries such a weight of tragedy, especially for the character of Clementine, but also in a sense for AJ. He could have had adults care for and teach him, and instead what he got was another child raising him. That said (at least the way I played Clementine when I played the games) he could have had much worse to be raising him, she is still a child herself.
It's just all very sad to me, but also in a strange way very beautiful. Two children robbed of their childhoods by the end of the world, yet at the end of it all, maybe able to teach each other how to access the innocence in their souls they were forced to bury deep down just to survive.

So I was playing this game while my wife was sitting beside me. After the axe swing, I explained to her why that had significance and that I was disappointed it was looking to be a repeat moment :/

I don’t think it’ll be Rick, unless he’s out hunting or scavenging for food and supplies with some of his people in a caravan. The game follows the timeline of the comic, by this point, Rick will be leading Alexandria and they’ll probably be in the middle of the Whisperers War or just at the end of it.

There was no plot armor intended in a situation like this. It was possible that she was gonna be alive.
Head cannon, she eventually got some kind of prosthetic be it wood, plastic, or metal and went back to being the badass we know and love.
They mad a comic recently which kinda is a let down….but it’s going to be interesting who they bring back and how they continue her journey

This ending is so contrived, sappy, and cliched. And yet...
I don't care! Clem's alive! I swear to god, I was grinning like a little baby when I saw her on those crutches. It's been such a wild ride and it feels so good, almost miraculous, that things turned out this well despite countless setbacks, both in and outside of the game world.

Clementine gets her legged chopped still lives, but Lee gets his hand chopped but still turns. (I’m not complaining Clem is so lucky and Lee just got bad luck) I guess in TWD universe aim for the leg not the hand XD
nah.. that's not the exact thing. Lee chopped his hand when the half day passed (12 hours). so, that's why he turned into a walker. But when clem got bit, aj chopped her leg within an hour. So, that's why/how she survived after a walker bite.

@@TECOFGOD It still doesn't make sense. The infections spreads in a matter of minutes. She was already pale as fuck, she should've turned. It doesn't matter if it's 1 hour or 12. She was bitten, the infections spreads fast, in a hour her whole blood cells should've been infected with the virus. Hershel from TWD survived because Rick chopped his leg after a few minutes. Tyresee was also bit by the hand, and he stayed with the infection 1 hour or more, and even though Rick chopped his arm, he would've still turned. I've watched enough zombie movie, and played lots of zombie games to know that this is bullshit. Bullshit way to get bit, bullshit ending. At least Telltale would've made an ending more realistic. Skybounds made a Disney ending. "And they lived happy ever after". Until they ran out of food and walkers killed them all.

Christa's fate was never confirmed.
If you went to Wellington with Kenny and still went in to the place without him, he's left alone and thus his fate is never confirmed.
Lily can survive depending on your choice.
I liked the kids at the school and glad for the most part that they survived but more shoulda been killed off for that dramatic moment. Not just the usual Louis or Violet thing.
Though not necessary, would've been nice to see Molly from S1 again.
Definitely definitely should have been an outcome for Mike, Bonnie (depending if she survived your story) and the Russian kid just fucking off like that too.
But alas, the story comes to an end.

When I saw clem in the school right before the ending, I thought she was a figment of AJ’s imagination because I was so convincing that she was dead.
This is gut wrenching. Absolutely sensational story telling and character building. I've heard and read so many theories about why Clem lived but I was so emotionally invested in her survival I couldn't have cared less tbh. I'm so happy she made it.
People wonder why was clementine not turned into a walker, well one she was already injured and two even though she was bitten she lost alot of blood in her leg which was easy to cut off before the infection spread, unlike lee who had his infection for a long time (if the player decides to keep his arm or cut it off)
wait.. why didnt they just make clementine a temporary prosthetic leg and have her use a crutch so that she can move more freely? (it worked with hiccup from httyd and he didnt even need a cane or crutch)
Ik this is an old comment but with a fresh stump she wouldn't be able to handle putting her weight on a prosthetic, it'll take a while before she could even think about using one.

This is a great ending but I would love an ending where if Clem did die she would be able to see lee in the afterlife and he can be proud of the legacy that she’s continued with AJ. The key to stop someone from becoming a zombie is to cut of the infected limb witch is the arms and legs well if at least one limb is infected is cut off the they infection can’t spread to your entire body buuuut if is on your head or torso you can’t be saved
