What really got me breaking down into tears was when Lee said "Pretending will have to do" emphasizing the fact that this Lee is only a figment of Clem's imagination. It's really just Clem herself playing out this conversation in her head to comfort herself. And she's aware of that. That truth hits hard.

Literally there isn’t a single person in the world who hates or dislikes this character. Not a single person. He’s just a perfectly crafted character. Without him, the series would not have been as successful as it was and Clementine wouldn’t be what she is today. He’s up there with characters like Mufasa from The Lion King.
Lee is the only reason why the entire story happened. While he was Player-choice, if he didn't find Clem, she'd starve and he'd probably die from the car crash since he's leg was infected. But he helped so many people (depending on how you play the game): Clem, Kenny, Chirsta, Omid, Vernon, Ben, Molly, and the other characters I didn't mention (Except Larry, Lilly, the St. Johns, & the stranger).
I love his character, but I know a whole organization that wouldn't like Lee as a character. It's 3 letters, they're all the same, and are between J and L on the keyboard.
I think when she turned into older Clem, i think it meant that Lee finally stopped seeing her as a little girl, and he started seeing her as an older Clem who is surviving

Imo Morgan freeman has the voice of God like his role in bruce almighty. It's calming but when you hear him you listen respectfully. Lee's VA is more like a father singing a lullaby to his baby. If I hear him I just felt like I want to sleep not because he bores me but because I feel safe. I just felt like I want to sleep in his lap while he strokes my head (no homo). Does this make sense? Idk if this makes sense...
This could possibly be Lee actually visiting Clementine. Sometimes, a loved one who has passed will visit you in the form of a dream, or hallucination. When my dad passed, he visited me in my dreams, and essentially is what lee is doing here to Clementine
They literally spell it out that Clem imagines to talk to Lee in order to deal with loneliness and stress and to encourage herself when she has to do something dangerous. It's obvious writers tried to illustrate that Lee had huge impact on her life and she still looks for his guidance despite him being dead for years, even if it's "make pretend" as Lee says it. Please pay attention to what narrative and writers want to portray, not what you want it to be.
When I watched Lee die I was probably around 8 or 9, and it was the first time I ever cried over something in a game. It was always one of my biggest cries and even as I’ve been older it still hurts to look back at it. Now, 7 years later, seeing this scene felt so full circle to me. I really bawled at this.
This scene threw me off so hard because at first I thought it was simply a flashback, then they started talking about current events. Then I realized Lee's hair was longer. Then Clementine turned into her current self and I started crying like a child. This season is either on par with season 1, or it's right below it. Easily outshines season 2 and 3.
I really enjoyed Season 2 despite the general reactions to it. It wasn't as "choice/consequence" heavy, but I feel like people who grade these games by how much their choices matter tend to miss the beauty of the stories themselves. Kenny taking control from Clementine works for me thematically. Like it or not AJ and Clementine have a somewhat happy somewhat bittersweet ending in The Final Season. But I definitely felt satisfied with TFS. This scene, the scene where Violet and Minerva sing that creepy song, Lily's return, and AJ's scene in the cave will stay with me for a long time.
When Clem hugged Lee it just made me burst into tears. I will always love and miss twd. Such a pleasure to watch Clem's story. I will forever be grateful for telltale and skybound for creating and finishing this game. Thank you telltale and skybound.
This was the very last opportunity for them to say "I love you" and I'm frustrated that it's not an option. I mean, Clem can say it to Kenny during the flashback in Season 3 so I don't understand why it's not possible with Lee when it would have made complete sense considering that Lee and Clem were basically family.
That ain't a flashback. The scene is in Clem's mind where she picks the train because its where Lee cut her hair and trained her to be self-defenced when He dies. And Lee is practically his spirit that still lives in Clem where they talk about Clem's problems
I mostly think the main reason why Clementine misses Lee more than her parents is because Lee was like a father to her and since Clementine witnessed Lee’s death and not her parents because it was more traumatic and emotional for her, but not only that she is continuously tormented at the fact that Lee’s death was her fault
Also for what we've seen their parents weren't as much with Clementine. Not only did Lee never abandonded her when he was alive but taught her everything she needed to know to survive and later on those teachings helped AJ

Next is Kenny, I feel like Lee represents Clems wisdom whereas Kenny would represent her rage and instinct. Considering she spent more years with Kenny than with Lee, it only makes sense for him to show up.
I think the reason why Lee had a bigger impact on Clem's life even though she spent more time with Kenny is that when she was with Kenny she was already "grown up" since she knew how to defend herself and to survive. When she was with Lee however she was just a scared little girl and Lee was the one that made her the person she is today. Without Lee she would have never make it this far.

This really reminds me of my dad. I really loved him so much, he used play games with me, talk to me, joked around with me. But, since he's gone, i don't get any attention as much, my brothers don't play as much with me, my sister doesnt play or barely talk with me. I really miss him so much.

What makes everything about Lee so impactful is that we were him, we experienced it all through his eyes and his death was a nice closing point, so impactful. The few times he shows up in a flashback it works because we know just what an impact he was on clem because we were that impact

This is the part that made me burst into tears, even days after when I remember about how little was Clem and when Lee says "Just look at you" or "You mean more proud than I already am" or "I miss you so much", " I wish you were really here" , I just can't, I just lose it. And the fact that we were with Lee just for 1 season: In the first episode we just got to know him, only in the second and the third we were always near him I should say, because in the forth Clem went with the stranger and Lee got bit. And in the final episode, I don't even want to remember the pain that ending made me fell. Even in the last episode of The Final Season, when i heard the "Take Us Back" song I just lost my thing and started crying.:(
lemon squeeze i know im gonna sound like i hate Lee but i dont, Lee dying is important in the story, Clementine learns to be independent and take care of herself.
I love this scene. It shows that despite how strong she became, at her heart Clementine is still a traumatized little girl. Visiting Lee on the train is her way of coping with the innocence she lost and the terrifying things she has/had to see and do in order to survive. With Lee she finds solace in the warmth and wisdom he provides, and the only person she could allow herself to be truly vulnerable with. It's utterly sad that they will forever be apart, but it's sweet that she can still pretend that they aren't.

When I watched Lee die I was probably around 8 or 9, and it was the first time I ever cried over something in a game. It was always one of my biggest cries and even as I’ve been older it still hurts to look back at it. Now, 7 years later, seeing this scene felt so full circle to me. I really bawled at this.

This scene threw me off so hard because at first I thought it was simply a flashback, then they started talking about current events. Then I realized Lee's hair was longer. Then Clementine turned into her current self and I started crying like a child. This season is either on par with season 1, or it's right below it. Easily outshines season 2 and 3.

I really enjoyed Season 2 despite the general reactions to it. It wasn't as "choice/consequence" heavy, but I feel like people who grade these games by how much their choices matter tend to miss the beauty of the stories themselves.
Kenny taking control from Clementine works for me thematically. Like it or not AJ and Clementine have a somewhat happy somewhat bittersweet ending in The Final Season.
But I definitely felt satisfied with TFS. This scene, the scene where Violet and Minerva sing that creepy song, Lily's return, and AJ's scene in the cave will stay with me for a long time.

When Clem hugged Lee it just made me burst into tears. I will always love and miss twd. Such a pleasure to watch Clem's story. I will forever be grateful for telltale and skybound for creating and finishing this game. Thank you telltale and skybound.

This was the very last opportunity for them to say "I love you" and I'm frustrated that it's not an option. I mean, Clem can say it to Kenny during the flashback in Season 3 so I don't understand why it's not possible with Lee when it would have made complete sense considering that Lee and Clem were basically family.

That ain't a flashback. The scene is in Clem's mind where she picks the train because its where Lee cut her hair and trained her to be self-defenced when He dies. And Lee is practically his spirit that still lives in Clem where they talk about Clem's problems
I mostly think the main reason why Clementine misses Lee more than her parents is because Lee was like a father to her and since Clementine witnessed Lee’s death and not her parents because it was more traumatic and emotional for her, but not only that she is continuously tormented at the fact that Lee’s death was her fault
Also for what we've seen their parents weren't as much with Clementine. Not only did Lee never abandonded her when he was alive but taught her everything she needed to know to survive and later on those teachings helped AJ

Next is Kenny, I feel like Lee represents Clems wisdom whereas Kenny would represent her rage and instinct. Considering she spent more years with Kenny than with Lee, it only makes sense for him to show up.

I think the reason why Lee had a bigger impact on Clem's life even though she spent more time with Kenny is that when she was with Kenny she was already "grown up" since she knew how to defend herself and to survive. When she was with Lee however she was just a scared little girl and Lee was the one that made her the person she is today. Without Lee she would have never make it this far.

This really reminds me of my dad. I really loved him so much, he used play games with me, talk to me, joked around with me. But, since he's gone, i don't get any attention as much, my brothers don't play as much with me, my sister doesnt play or barely talk with me. I really miss him so much.

Last of Us 2 was an awful game, especially after killing of Joel that way. Lee didn’t even need this scene because his death was extremely good and emotional. Joel had like the worst death ever.

What disheartens me the most about this line alone is that he NEVER gets to say anything when he does, and that just takes me.
What makes everything about Lee so impactful is that we were him, we experienced it all through his eyes and his death was a nice closing point, so impactful.
The few times he shows up in a flashback it works because we know just what an impact he was on clem because we were that impact

Oh my heart. When he saw her as her older self and he said “Wow, look at you.” It just reminded me of my dad, and how he looks at me now that his baby girl is all grown up.
This is the part that made me burst into tears, even days after when I remember about how little was Clem and when Lee says "Just look at you" or "You mean more proud than I already am" or "I miss you so much", " I wish you were really here" , I just can't, I just lose it.
And the fact that we were with Lee just for 1 season: In the first episode we just got to know him, only in the second and the third we were always near him I should say, because in the forth Clem went with the stranger and Lee got bit. And in the final episode, I don't even want to remember the pain that ending made me fell. Even in the last episode of The Final Season, when i heard the "Take Us Back" song I just lost my thing and started crying.:(

lemon squeeze i know im gonna sound like i hate Lee but i dont, Lee dying is important in the story, Clementine learns to be independent and take care of herself.
Lee is the only guy I seen walking through a zombie horde and survive
I love this scene. It shows that despite how strong she became, at her heart Clementine is still a traumatized little girl. Visiting Lee on the train is her way of coping with the innocence she lost and the terrifying things she has/had to see and do in order to survive. With Lee she finds solace in the warmth and wisdom he provides, and the only person she could allow herself to be truly vulnerable with.
It's utterly sad that they will forever be apart, but it's sweet that she can still pretend that they aren't.
