Just sharing my experience - I tested the displayed 12T Pro model in a Mi store here in the Philippines. Installed 3DMark and Geekbench (can't find Antutu in Play Store). Was able to finish 3DMark Wild Life Extreme at 16FPS, and maxed out result the standard Wild Life test. Geekbench just a little higher than Poco F4 GT (can't remember exact numbers), but none of the tests crashed, though I only ran them once. There's noticeable heating of the body after each test. Can't comment on camera since it's inside the store so there's really no other environment to test.
Thanks Angelo! Glad to hear it's performing similarly. It was close to finishing the Wild Life Extreme Stress Test--i think it failed on the 17th loop. Hopefully Xiaomi will make some software adjustments and solve the overheating issue.
Hello Osamax! I never tested the S22+, but I did like the Ultra. I would say go Samsung for camera and OS (better update frequency). Xiaomi for better gaming performance and price. I don't know if that's helpful (i wish I had hands-on on experience with the Samsung), what are the most important features to you?
3:42 I am facing this WiFi drop issue in my Poco F4 as well and because of it, now I have keep the mobile data off. I like to keep the mobile data ON so that I don't miss any important chat notifications in case my WiFi goes down.
Oh no! Thank you for letting me know Ash. I'll have to retest my F4 and see if it's doing it as well. I agree, it's a problem. I used up more data than usual because of it. Hopefully Xiaomi can patch whatever is causing this quickly!
@@phonecomp Yeah, I hope they fix it soon as well. It's been only a month since I got it and I am not really a fan of the software though I can't complain much since I got this level of hardware just for $270 here in India.
@@ashyouknow7420 Understand. That is a good deal at least. Poco fixed all the bugs on my F3 after a while, hopefully the same will be true of the F4. I honestly thought there wouldn't be any bugs since the F4 is basically the F3, but I was wrong.
This device is a real monster absolutely there no any comments in this spec along with price tag, i seek too much in market and never find such a deal ! It is beast for the year !
Hello Mohamad! The specs for the price are fantastic, I totally agree. I just hope Xiaomi optimizes the camera and throttles the processor in the rare circumstances when it gets too hot.
A minor issue here. When using WeChat. I can't hold to talk. It will automatically move to delete without me moving an inch of my finger. Anyone facing this kind of wechat issue using xiao mi 12t pro?
Hello John! The only first party Xiaomi apps I use are their file manager, camera, and calculator. I turned them off for file manager. I have heard that Xiaomi is removing ads in MIUI 14, which would absolutely be nice--but I very rarely see ads on my Poco/Redmi/Xiaomi devices as it is. Long answer to say, no I have not seen random ads.
Hello Colman! I liked the Note 11 Pro Plus and as far as everyday performance it was fast enough for me. You're really just looking at two different tiers of value here. If you do more processor intensive things with your device then I'd say go with the 12T Pro. It will win with gaming, photo and video shooting, etc. So if you need the higher end performance definitely go with the 12T Pro.
Hello Medo! How about the OnePlus 10T? It really comes down to what you want to do with the device (and if you don't mind MIUI). The 12T and 10R are pretty comparable on paper (I have not tested either though). I would go with the OnePlus because I prefer ColorOS, and I'm guessing that their cameras are pretty similar. Sorry that's not super helpful!
Hey Rogue! I believe it! It's a solid gaming phone for most users for sure. It's just falling short in Genshin when you push it to the max and it can't pass two stress tests in ideal conditions. No case, pretty low ambient temperature (it's getting cold where I live), and no performance mode turned on. That makes me fearful about regions that are much warmer and how this device will perform. Especially since I had comments that the 11T Pro had thermal issues. I was surprised since the 8+ Gen 1 performed really well in the OnePlus 10T. Xiaomi just needs to manage thermals better on their higher end devices.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro was on my crosshair few days ago. But I couldn't make up my mind until I bought the Poco F4. Since you had all of these phones which one has a natural-looking skin tones, better dynamic range and a better audio pickup using the selfie camera: OneOlus 10T, Xiaomi 12T Pro or a Poco F4?
Gino, I'd say natural skin tones-10T or F4 with GCam, technically the 12T Pro for dynamic range (but it was pretty hit or miss), audio would either be the 12T Pro or 10T. At least from what I recall. I think you can get what you want out of the F4 though!
@@phonecomp I see. I'll take your word for it then. The Poco F4 arrives tomorrow but I usually take time in installing apps and just trying out the phone itself. I also reset it at least once or even twice to squash all the bugs (hopefully). Is that what you do as well? If I'm not happy with the F4 I'll probably revert back to a OnePlus 9 or just get a 10T as it's currently below £500 which in thought it should have been from the start. I also wanted to ask if you tried downloading ROMs for MIUI? Not the Custokm ones but the "official" Poco ones that you can find in their app or website?
@@TechNomadUK1 Occasionally I will factory reset the device if I have any significant issues, but generally I do not. I hope you like it, but the 10T is definitely a solid choice as well.
