I recommend Samsung simply because there are more features. OnePlus Pad is a good tablet but there are many good tablets out there too and the main thing I like about it is the 7:5 aspect ratio.
Best format for note taking: OnePlus. Best overall: Samsung S9 + Galaxy AI + Mate Screen Protection + SPen with a titanium tip Best App: Notein + CamScanner I must say that the 3/4 format is more comfortable for working with written documents and this is precisely what the new Xiaomi has adopted. The second thing I would like to have is a webcam positioned in the center of the screen or failing that a second camera on the shorter side of the tablet. With the current configuration, video calls between tablet and cell phone are very uncomfortable because the other person seems to be looking into the sky. I think that in 2024 Xiaomi will be the best tablet for taking notes because now it has the same processor as the Samsung S9 at a more affordable price in addition to the 3/4 format and 50 megapixel webcam

I have an S22 Ultra and have written more than three pages on Samsung Notes. And I want in the middle of the second page to empty space and move everything under this space down so that I can write something I have forgotten. After searching and several attempts, I found only one and impractical way, which is that I identify the content and withdraw it unfortunately, and this is difficult and impractical. How can I do this so easily? I stopped writing with a pen because of this problem.
Personally, imo if you want a tablet for drawing and note taking, I would stay away from Samsung, as they are using wacom technology which is working based on electromagnet, the precision is affected by closed other magnet source like folio case, speaker, etc... and also can gradually offset by time. The thing is while on most of devices using wacom digitizer (windows os) there is always a calibration tool built in so that you can optimize the precision, while samsung tab firmware doesn't provide any, thus once it become in accurate, there is nothing can make it work properly again.
Hi.can Samsung S9 tablets show "hovering dot"/"hovering ring" when the digital pen tip is very very close to the screen but does not touch it yet? It's important because sometimes when browsing internet, you need to hover the digital pen tip over the certain menu for it to open and show more options.
Ehhh the s6 lite 2022 is quite meh now after the tab s9 fe released Here, both are the same msrp and you're getting a sharper and generally better display and better latency
Shouldn't the writing test be done on each tablet instead of all in one tablet? I know Apple and Samsung have a better compatibility with their pens and many features, am I wrong?
The Lenovo Active Pen 3* and the Precision Pen 2 work** with the Pad 5. It may or may not work on Pad 6. But they're very cheap compared to the originals. Pressure sensitivity works, buttons don't. Idk about what tilt does and haven't tested it. * The Active Pen 3 uses a hard-to-find AAAA (not to confuse with AAA) battery and can't draw straight lines on Xiaomi. The lines get magically broke, even on Windows. ** You need to root your tab, get Xposed running and install an Xposed module "maxmipad" or alternatively install a Custom ROM because normally its vendor locked.

If you could get the xiaomi pad 6 and the Oneplus Pad for the same price which would you recommend?
If they are the same price, I may go with OnePlus as I like the larger screen. But the 256GB to me is a bigger selling point as OnePlus Pad only has 128GB

The thing is while on most of devices using wacom digitizer (windows os) there is always a calibration tool built in so that you can optimize the precision, while samsung tab firmware doesn't provide any, thus once it become in accurate, there is nothing can make it work properly again.
samsung release the calibration tool fr !!!
get another s pen 3 years down the road
God what is this Wacom thing man, never knew about it. I genuinely hope that it is fixed in s10 series.
Does that correct the problem? like i dont know one bit about this whole wacom thing so just asking@@lazyidealist
As far I know isn't Wacom really favored by artists?

Hi.can Samsung S9 tablets show "hovering dot"/"hovering ring" when the digital pen tip is very very close to the screen but does not touch it yet? It's important because sometimes when browsing internet, you need to hover the digital pen tip over the certain menu for it to open and show more options.
Yes it can, not only the high end S9 series but also the economic S6 lite
Yes. The Tab S Series has been doing that for many years.
Yes, even the old Samsung Tablets have this feature. I have an old Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 that has it.

As owner of mi pad 6 max and Lenovo p12 pro I'll recommend Lenovo, but it was broken after 3 months of using without any dropping.

Great review as always. What a pity not to see Tab S6 lite, maybe best value for money?
Ehhh the s6 lite 2022 is quite meh now after the tab s9 fe released
Here, both are the same msrp and you're getting a sharper and generally better display and better latency

Which tablets have the the pen that offers audio recording when you take notes ?
Not sure what you mean. But it sounds like an app feature than hardware/tablet feature
Shouldn't the writing test be done on each tablet instead of all in one tablet? I know Apple and Samsung have a better compatibility with their pens and many features, am I wrong?
The tests were done on each tablet. After each test, I just use the next tablet to load the same file from cloud, and test with the next pen.
I am choosing between pad 6 and s9 fe, and I don’t know which is better for studying at university, can somebody recommend me which is better?
Would it be possible to use the damsung pencil with the other two android tablets? Would it charge on the other tablets?
Samsung pen can only work on Samsung tablets

The S9, but it is also a lot more expensive than the others.

what if you need the color to very accurate, for design?
Tablets can't be colour calibrated so you'll have to use the default factory calibration

@@MarcosCruz If you look at 03:51 where all the displays are showing white, you can see the white looks different on all the tablets. So which one is considered accurate? It is difficult or impossible to tell unless you have a colour accurate reference (printout) to compare to.
