Pleasing to know Xiaomi is finally offering long-term software support with 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates. They need to keep this up with future devices.
It's just 3 technically since Android 13 is already out. This phone comes with Android 12, it will probably get A13 next year. I am already running A13 (Custom ROM) on my phone.
Considering Android 13 has already been out for more than a month, the 12T Pro should have come with the same pre-installed, and three future updates should be upto version 16.
3os upgrade. Whenever you have xiaomi, you should never upgrade the OS (unless you do a factory reset) because every update they bring you a bug as a feature
Software support and security updates from Xiaomi are definitely an improvement on their part. I'm using a Note 9s and I've upgraded from android 10 to 12 with the latest security patch. No hiccups, no lag, battery life is just as good, maybe an hour lost on screen on time due to the phone itself being 2 years old but apart from that, satisfied with it. This phone might be my next purchase. Great review as always
