    I have the Master earbud for more than a year now. It’s really a neutral warm earbud, with the right amount of bass and treble. U won’t get sibilance or shoutiness with it, very safe tuning.
    One thing I dislike is the cable which will become stiff like steel after sometimes. Oil from the skin stiffens it gradually. They should consider using a material that can resist oil.
    Tanchjim Zero has a very nice & soft transparent cable. Maybe take a cue from there. Speaking of Tanchjim Zero, I recently used it to listen to some songs. After that I switched to the Master earbud, wow! I got a big surprise. The Master sounds so nice! It’s warm, pillowy and super smooth compared to the thin & harsh sound of Zero. 😂 It’s a great experience.😊

      VE Master gang! I do really enjoy this bud. Maybe recabling it could be an option...

    Only channel that I saw a review of this earbuds. Have you try their VE Zen 2.0 and Omega ZOE? These are their previous top line up before they recently release ZEN 3.0 if im not mistaken. Another brand that you may want to try for review is Yuin. They have PK Line like PK1 PK2 and PK3, 1 is top line and 3 is most entry level. Yuin recently release PKE but price are almost the same as VE ZEN 3.0.
    It will be interesting if you review these Earbuds in the future if you are interesting to try. PK1-3 are still effortable (1 may little pricy) VE ZEN 2.0 and Omega ZOE are also interesting how you react to it. But ZOE may hard to find nowaday.

      @ImAWSMDanny  4 місяці тому

      Unfortunately I have not tried those other VE buds. I will look into Yuin though. Buds are harder to get for reviews so usually I have to buy them.

      Understandable, maybe you can start on VE Monk Plus, 5USD. VE best selling earbud. I still have it on my desk even it connector are not good anymore (the gold plate are ripped out) I use it everyday after my ears is fatigue from headphone or iem

    L shape connectors are L for desktop use, but I think a 45° angle is quite good. Had a few cheap-buds with about that angle and it worked fine.
    Congratulations on a thousand subscribers Danny!

    • @ImAWSMDanny
      @ImAWSMDanny  6 місяців тому +1

      Thank you! L-shaped is definitely more annoying on desktop more than mobile. Maybe foldable terminations soon? Get on it chifi!

    • @ivicz_balint
      @ivicz_balint 6 місяців тому

      @@ImAWSMDanny cool idea, but I don't think it's rational. Chifi can go wrong in so many ways, one more thing that can break WILL. So maybe multiple options? Or strengthened connector ends. Another layer of plastic tube that can be moulded by heat like earhooks. Lengthens lifetime and more versatility🤔

    Is it really really that neutral, like for mixing?
    I won't mix, but I'm looking for that sound signature.
    A minimal too bright, a minimal too warm, a minimal V, etc. and it won't sound too good for me.
    It's annoying that every headphone I've tried is not neutral enough.
    Also is it heavy? cuz the mx500 shell is not very comfortable.

    • @ImAWSMDanny
      @ImAWSMDanny  3 місяці тому +1

      Shell is pretty heavy but hooks into my ear very nicely. Overall sound is neutral but on the thicker side, slightly warm but barely.

    Hello @AWSMDanny i'v been searching a pair of earbuds with good bass but apparently none of the one i own are good enough for EDM/D&B, i have the FF5,Alpha 3, RY4S plus (wich i higly reccomend), Tiandirenhe MMCX, Ve Monk, FAAEAL Iris 2.0 and more Chifi buds. Sadly none of those are good enough for those genre of music. Do you have any suggestion within a reasonable price range and availability? Current amp Fiio K7

    • @ImAWSMDanny
      @ImAWSMDanny  6 місяців тому

      So as far as bass goes buds tend to roll off a bit especially depending on your fit. The best bass extension has been on some Rikubuds or the Master for me. For your music preferences I would probably go for the Berserker line Riku makes. Really focuses on bass quantity. His Saber 3 has really good extension and sub bass presence but not as much quantity as the Berserker line. I haven't tried many bassy options for buds unfortunately.

    • @ImAWSMDanny

      Thanks for tuning in. EB2S is a nice bud, I preferred the Pro version. If you haven't yet I'd recommend you try the Yincrow X6. It's usually under $12 and a nice toned set. If you want to go higher in price next step would probably be Rikubuds Lancer 1 then either Alpha 3 or Master.

      @@ImAWSMDanny cool..thanks for the response..will try some of these..with in ears, I have found there is only a very loose correlation between price and sound quality, my KZ pr2 planars for 30 bucks kick ass on higher priced IEMs, as an example, but they are very needy (big power, good cable, clean source, exactly correct eartips, I tried 12 before I found the right ones, etc), we say 'manja' about these, which is like the girl who is never quite pleased with what you give her.. My nice hck b 40s were 8 bucks, I forgot about them till now, no bass but very clean natural mids and treble, good extension, good technical, I gave it to my son for gaming, he loves them. So it's not always about the price. Yincrow is popular here in Indonesia, will order the ones you suggested today. I need more flatheads. Seriously, like about 10 would be good, so I keep the 4 I like.

    • @ImAWSMDanny
      @ImAWSMDanny  6 місяців тому +1

      Yea I find the sweet spot for both IEMs and flatheads is about $200 USD. You can get a lot of good stuff around that price.
