Best quote: "It is not about the narcissist respecting you. It is about you respecting you". That's it. With everyone-friends and family too. I won't deal with anyone anymore who doesn't respect my limits. I respect other people's.

No contact is the only full solution. Work towards it.

Boy!! Melanie nails it here!! This is one of THE most foundational, and valuable videos I have seen from her. They are all valuable, but wow! Thank you!!!! You nailed the narc's behavior to the T...exactly the process taken not only with setting boundaries but with ALL attempts to get them to understand any kind of violating behavior or any type of conflict at all. AND she nails it with what derails me. Exactly. Park this video and everything she says here and watch it over and over again!! Let all this stuff really land with you. Please also consider joining NARP.

Absolutely 💯 correct. We are responsible for ourselves and manifesting our own happiness and peace. Defiant self care. Never again. I am not what others think say or do to or about me. I am not tied to outcomes. My love and attention come with conditions. I am in a flow state not a control state. I am safe 3x. No trauma = no treasure ✨️ 💖 💛. Nameste everyone ❤️ 💙 ✨️.

All very true. I learned the hard way but at least it’s and they are in the past now. I learned a lot and won’t make the same mistakes again. The advice you have been giving on how to understand narcissism has been a big help to me to recover from the years of mental abuse. Thank you.

I have a question, if a woman is with a guy who is a narcisist for 9 years, from an early age, can that woman now have narcisistic tendencies?
