Localtalks 02.24 - Local Innovators: Green Products from Natural and Recycled Materials

This hybrid event (online and in-person) focused on innovative and sustainable Ugandan products. We invited a few local companies (MakaPads, TEXFAD, WastePlus, Divine Bamboo and Paper Craft Africa) to share products that use natural and/or recycled materials. Speakers presented technical aspects of their products alongside their experiences of establishing and running green startups. Samples of the various products were presented in a small exhibition.
