Such speedboster is just a flashlight.
My dude you are hitting your stride. Deleted mountain lion made my day, I may need to buy another CC t-shirt. 👽📸
Surely you’ve covered the joys of Metabones APS-C to Canon EF adaptors/boosters (and i will scour the archives), for discerning tastes in wonky color and obsolete glass?
You just don’t get wildlife photography or why you would want a monopod. Not everyone wants video footage. Your a skinny guy try hand holding a 600 f4 or a 400 f2.8
made me laugh so hard with the price of the wife's footage
Same here 🤣🤣
You need the tripod or monopod because it helps remove hand shake and you can tend to lock in a lower shutter speed if needed. If your out in nature like Mr CC here.. you can lean on trees and lay on the ground.. but you can't do that on a football field. So sports games they are stuck standing in the same spot for hours... CC here can put the camera down and take a break.. you don't get to do that at a football game because you will miss the action. he is spot on about the stabilization in these lens's though. I was able to photograph a cluster galaxy hand held with a RF 70-200, I leaned against a pole on my backyard. I've never been able to do that without a tripod before because you need a little longer exposure with star and space stuff. was pretty amazing, but not everyone can afford all the new camera's and new lens's with all that stuff so your tripod or monopod is super important. End of the day each person is in a different situation and needs to do what works for them.
The giraffe having stacked lenses as a neck collar is nice imagery.
I'm amazed at how much I continue to enjoy Tangent Town. Something about this commentary/animal footage combo. 👌
Just wanna let you some Love here .. No Camera Channel out there has your unige dark Humor and im Loving it .. Greetz from Germany 😀
The Canon RF F/11 is obviously best in bright sunlight, which you haven't had much of lately in your vlogs. But in the right light, you're gonna love it. Even though I have the 100-500, I'm thinking of adding the 800 to my kit. Bad luck for me that Canon just jumped the price 🤨... It's still on my want list, though. If you can edit the files, the R5 is the real deal.
Never mind the GH-6 pulsing. It can't track at all. It couldn't keep Chelsea Northrup in focus when she just walked at a normal pace towards the camera. Terrible.
Being hilariously entertaining while imparting useful knowledge is why you are the world number one UA-camr. What? You’re not? There’s no justice, sue them.
Helen is my sisters name. I F’ng dying here laughing!! Thank goodness it’s morning and my wife is already up!!!
Thanks for answering my question! I knew you would crush me on the Samyang lenses 😅. However, their performance and color has been pretty solid in my experience. I am saving up for the 35 mm GM, though. Samyang was all I could afford at first, and I was just too impatient to get that 4K , full frame, no record limit, etc. But I definitely agree, the lens “should “ take priority in general.
Yeah, I have 24 mm 1.8 and it's a gem. Light, really sharp with fast and smooth focus.
@@Zieloniwpodrozy I have it as well! It's my favourite lens, and perfect to take out on travels and stuff
i bought 2 shirts and watched all the ads so you can buy more gear. you're welcome...lol.
I was thinking about the Sony 70-200mm f2.8 strapped onto a GoPro. Good set up for wildlife photography? 😂
I like the white balance card in the background to look professional… lol
Try a gimble on your monopod with long glass and it will change your mind about monopod's. It makes all the difference.
LOL!! “You dix”. I subscribed for your content knowledge, I stay for the comedy. You’re outstanding!👍👍
I think best budget camera for wildlife and general videography is canon eos r6 with rf 24-240 f4-6.3mm is usm.
Love your videos on Vegetable Police and have been watching for years. Those videos helped me with and through a medical issue(SIBO) I had in 2019. Anyway, I knew you were into cameras and wanted to ask your opinion on a camera: I want to start making videos of home remodeling jobs I do and wanted your recommendation for a camera? I figure I'll be setting a camera up on a tripod and just letting it record until the job is completed. I also plan on doing walk throughs on jobs in a before and after type of set up so there will be some hand held recording as well. I know just about 0 when it comes to cameras and vlogging so a new user friendly set up would be sweet. I would like to keep the budget under $1000.
Thank you and keep up the great work!!
This guy is the scotty kilmer of camera world. Doesn't give a damn. Talking straight truths.
Fuji xT4 was a choice, but got Sony A74. I love hiking 🥾 and love taking pictures. Yes I have the kit lens 28-70 and 24mm 2.8 What I would like is the 70-200 GM ii but your sarcastic answer might be good for me. What should I do for wildlife pictures while out hiking. Also yes my tripod has a monopod and it’s great. Perfect camera please.
Can you make fan comments / questions smaller? Distracts me from focusing on Bob Ross photo.
Yes! Nature is the best. Try hugging those trees next. It feels amazing. I’m dead serious about that. Yay! Muskrats are cute.
Yeah, I learned very quickly that changing lenses in the field is something you want to avoid at all costs. One lens per body is the way to go. If you want to go out with multiple lenses then get multiple bodies.
Why’s this? Because debris can get on the censor?
It's 2022, an adequate photographer (new or experienced) should know this like... common sense 😄
It depends for me. For long events with some slow parts I’ll bring multiple lenses to get more variety in the shots. But for fast moving events or short events yes one lens per body
@@AmB39 Well yes, but it's mainly a workflow thing. It's way faster to switch to another camera with a different lens than it is to take the lens off your camera and put on a different one. In most professional "run-and-gun" environments you will miss the shot by the time you finish switching lenses.
The photographers at my brother's wedding had 3 cameras slung around their bodies, each one with a different lens. It looked like a 24 or 35mm, a 50mm, and a 70-200mm.
If you don't have multiple cameras or carrying multiple cameras isn't practical for you, use a fast standard zoom lens. Getting the shot with less toneh or higher ISO is better than not getting the shot at all.
@@AmB39 Or whichever lens best fits the situation. I don't need super wide or super zoomed in, so standard zooms are great all-rounders for me.
Your lack of toneh in this video is disturbing.
Interesting, photography can be complicated. Lens today are very expensive sometimes far more than the camera . German lens and Swiss lenses have always been very expensive. One lens does it all is the answer especially for travel .
Good lenses hold their value far more then a camera though.
Here's a question: do you change camera systems more often than you change diets?
Bro you need to revamp! Trust me I respect your vibes but be more creative, the summer is coming so I think you will get back up there in views plus travelling is on the raise again I still watch all your videos but something I just stop half way or fast forward but again I still think you are still one of the most unique so it’s not a bad comment
We’ve not seen a slow mo street crossing. Maybe you could get a buddy filming you with that wildlife lens crossing the street? I would click an affiliate link for that footage.
The Greys from Zeta Reticuli specialize in low light photography. The big black eyes should be a tip off. You're buying your lenses from the wrong sources. Go with the Greys. 👽 (btw he appears green because of all the foliage around him). Directions: Zeta Reticuli, Latinized from ζ Reticuli, is a wide binary star system in the southern constellation of Reticulum. From the southern hemisphere the pair can be seen with the naked eye as a double star in very dark skies. Based upon parallax measurements, this system is located at a distance of about 39.3 light-years from Earth.Wikipedia
Hi Kasey. You have experience with all the big brands in camera industry. Which camera is the most fun and enjoyable to use? Thx for your input. Your opinion matters
Wait a minute, do you have another channel? What the heck. I gotta go see this.
I like your videos. They are informative and entertaining but it's beneath you to mock those who use budget lenses until they can afford the better more expensive ones. Oh; and Sony rocks!😁
I think it's also nice when someone is willing to slap you with reality. So you can make informed decisions and know exactly where you're compromising and where you're getting a good value.
I'm on team budget at D.I.Y camp. But it gets old seeing every reviewer telling you that whatever piece of budget gear they happen to buy being the absolute best thing ever and absolutely the perfect choice for everyone.
Also, I have a feeling nothing is below him and I like it that way 👌
@@IndecisionTelevision 😂 I appreciate good comedy too and appreciate honesty even more. No need to belittle someone though. That's just petty. I'm 100% sure those who do have the lesser lenses wish they could afford the better quality lenses. No need to slap them with something they already know.
@@underthedrone2735 fair enough! I must admit I was a bit personally hurt when he started talking about Tamrons. but it was the truth and Ive got the shaky footage to prove it... But from his perspective as someone who does wildlife, I can understand being critical of a long lens. me, I just wanted something cheap to round off my set.
Im just discovering the channel and am jumping pretty readily to his defense, but what can I say, I like the guy.
You too. enjoy your day
Sony A6400 with 70-350 for wildlife video only, is it good especially at HD 120fps?
The wings of the stuff bird behind you, occasionally appear above your head giving the appearance of devil horns :-)
There are 6 feet + monopods. With regulated height. I used one just like you have showed. With a quick-release plate on a ball head attached to camera collar foot it had 6 feet and I could make it even 4 inches longer. Few seconds to set up. And afterwards I used it as a walking stick. Plus I can use it as a spear or as a mace when colapsed. And as for the GH6 you can use it with 100-300 Power II or with Leica 200mm 2.8 + TC which is razor sharp. Poth have its dual IS. I will see it once I get my GH6.
This is old as ice age Theory. Lens makes image not a camera 📸
With the Canon M50 you can get non-cropped 4K video by using Magic Lantern software
Where can I buy the “I suck at my job” shirt. Even tho I’m retired…
If only there was a link in the description.
What about the Panasonic 100-300 for hand held wildlife? Anything wrong with that lens?
@ 6:30 the animal is a muskrat...confirmed
Do you upload to Rumble?
Is your love of 4K 120p to do with the width of Canadian streets? I would have though you'd want 240p or are the streets to narrow?
150-600 done
Lmao you humilliated people choice XD my two cents: just buy what everyone buys it has to be good (mostly don't count on it)
17:40 oh yeah shrek skin. I had 24mm f2?8 samy as placeholder before 16-35gm, but i returned samyang immediately before return window closed. Had to be without lens for 3 months which was really sad but it was worth the wait (I just got sony a7siii really affordable could not buy both lens and camera)
If you are loving photographing wildlife, my Sony A7iv is awesome. My lens is…crap, I can’t remember. I want to say 100-400. Let me go check.
Yep 100-400
It’s perfect
I already commented this on another video, but I’ll rephrase it as a question.. do you think the 4K60p from the A7iv + Sony 70-350 APS-C can be better than from the X-T4 + 70-300? Similar size/weight, 10 bit, bird AF, longer reach, active stabilization. Have you considered this setup?
You are just the most amusing and informative videography channel. I hadn't looked for channels such as this before making my initial purchase of an RX100 VII, and you persuaded me to sell it. Wish I had looked before, as I am more than happy with my subsequent purchases - including the 70-300mm lense.
Do you at any time think you would like to take astro photos? I mean they are not video but they are the closest thing to magic compared to video in the war of the photos vs video argument :)
There are plenty Fuji 70-300 on ebay!
For more expensive than new.
The commentor that was looking to switch from a 50-250 to a 24-200 mentioned 35mm equiv focal length because the 50-250 is an DX lens on their DX camera while the 24-200 is an FX lens that on their DX camera would be subject to the 1.5x crop-factor giving the equivalent field of view of a 36-300mm lens, so a little wider and longer than their existing lens while being about the same size and only 160g heavier. It appears to be a better lens, but that comes with a significantly higher price.
200mm is longer than 250mm? Another comedy source for Kasey :D
@@tntytube No, you are correct. I made the same error that the commentor made in calculating equivalent focal lengths by not factoring the crop factor in for the original DX lens. The 250mm of the original lens would give a 35mm equivalent field of view of 375mm (6.5 degrees), while the 200mm lens would be only be equivalent of 300mm (8 degrees). Sorry.
03:15 where is STACY ??? :p lol
Hey -- I'm a photographer and I *DO* eat mice!
Have you tried Gyroflow?
When it comes to bird’s photography more megapixel the better usually
"Oh, this is so small, I love this thing!" *SHE* said, never!
3:22 "Give him the raw meat" he says as horns demon grow out of his head. Or kitten ears, can't tell.
Anyway, would be great if you could compare a Panny boy with the 100-400 (also the 100-300 exists) to the Fuje. Although the OIS acted weird when you had it (100-400) last time, is that the same specimen?
Basically I've fallen in love with you
Switching from Fuji XT-4 w 16-55 and 10-24 to Sony FX3 due to issues with Fuji overheating, it's terrible AF, recording limits and it's footage being impossible to edit without proxies.. Is the 16-35mm 2.8 GM the lens to have for this setup?
99% of my content is made in the studio, need wide angle for top down shot of entire table.
""Cheap out on the body, get the ultimate lens" after saying you're getting an R5 with 800 f11.
Monopods. Aren't. That. Heavy...
If he had a monopod his wife wouldn't have been eaten.
Sony active stabilization works well with any lens.
No it doesn't, I've tested many that fail.
Borrow that RF100-400!! with 60p crop it's frickin awesome! SUPER LIGHT. IT FEELS LIKE A TOY... in a good way....
I have it too for my R5 and I love it! I just took it out on a hike yesterday and got some silky smooth 120p wildlife clips; so much fun!
Got my new Fuji xa7 for $400 each on FB MP Still not used them, prob got scammed...
🤣 If i got money i will buy the A1 the canon r5 and some cc lenses for nice chrispy sharpy 8k videos ahahaha they nice at f1.7 so good for lowlight 😅🤣
If your doing wildlife and landscape then just take 2 camera bodies and lenses
*You are the photographer's.... conspiracy ...!*
where is Panasonic pony of hope video?
Woo hoo!
Hahaha!!!! Owls….haha.
Re: using a monopod - have you heard of angles? You won’t be thrown in jail for having a monopod set at less than 90 degrees to the horizon. Set the height of the monopod a bit taller than you are, use a wimberley mh-100, and take advantage of middle school geometry to solve your problems.
I know who you are.
10:01 I wasn't ready. Now I'm wearing my coffee. You don't need either lens to see that, ya ball bag. I've tolerated you for a while. Keep up the very okay work you're doing.
I dare you to try the Rokinon 18mm 2.8 on the a7c for vlogging. 😛
I bet you won’t.
I already tried it on the A7S III and it was trash.
@@cameraconspiracies 😆 fair enough. Guess if I had the budget for the a7siii I’d also prefer to fork up the cash for Sony glass.
In my case I was trying to get the cheapest and lightest full frame vlogging setup and the a7c/Rokinon 18 combo has worked great for me. Especially as an upgrade from iPhone vlogs.
@@LittleMountainLife Would be too shaky, why you want to annoy your audience? lol.
@@cameraconspiracies oh it’s shaky as hell. 😆Still trying to work on my ninja walking skills. But, as much as I hate it, catalyst browse does work great most of the time.
I never understood the appeal of monopods....until I tried one
why you care about having the best video and sound quality when what I just focus on the huge mic and wherever the other thing is?. De u em bee. The chinesse guy with british accent pointed that glass matter more.
You can’t find the lens because no one buys it
Why do you have 10 owls? 🤔
Siiick😂👍🤡
Sony is the best. Because…it is what I have. FYI - I don’t know sh*t…and I am an expert.
Tamron is good, guy 🤥
