Hello, Stephanie! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment! Hope you have a wonderful new week ahead, Stephanie! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Tiffany, your fabrics are beautiful. Addy June will be a real schoolgirl in her new dress. 😊 I bought deep red French Terry from the Sewing Studio in Oregon for a winter robe. My first purchase ever from an online fabric store. Now I'm off to check Olga's Closet.
Hello, Marcia! Thank you so much for watching! Aw, how fun to be discovering online fabric shopping! Sounds like you got a beautiful piece from the Sewing Studio. Yes! Olga’s closet is a great resource as well! You can’t beat their sale prices🥰 Hope you’re having a wonderful week, Marcia! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Hi Tiffany, I’m just getting caught up on your videos and I want to congratulate you on your 100th video from last Friday sews!!! That is wonderful and quite the accomplishment!!! Also I’m so happy to hear that your father was healed from his cancer. Prayer is an amazing way to reach out to our God. He is so very good to us and I pray that your family continues to be blessed ❤️ P.S. The fabric is so fun and pretty 😊
Hello, Cynthia! Thank you so much for watching and for such a kind comment, it’s meant so much to me! I hope you’re having a wonderful week, Cynthia! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Hello, Amanda! Thank you so much for watching! Yes! Olga’s closet is such a great resource! Hope you have a wonderful new week ahead, Amanda! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Your fabrics are absolutely beautiful! Addy June will love her jammies and dress! Your sweater knits and the rib knit for a dress are really incredible!! I can't wait to see the finished garments! Happy sewing. I'm hoping to get my legs finally healed up enough to get back into my sewing.
Hello, Dillis! Thank you so much for watching and for such a kind comment, it has meant so very much to me! I hope you’re having a great week, Dillis, and I’ll be praying for your speedy recovery so you can return to sewing 🥰 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Lovely fabrics, Tiffany! You look so joyful showing us your fabric haul 😊. I’m beginning to think your discipline of a buying month and two non-buying months is a very good practice. I want to feel joyful when I purchase fabric! (versus guilty because it really wasn’t in my budget for the month!). Thanks for another fun video.
Hello, Brooke! Thank you so much for watching and for such a great comment! You’re so perceptive to pick up on this attitude shift that I have towards fabric buying. And you’re so right, as well, Brooke, my strategy really has helped me bring the joy back to fabric buying. I completely understand that guilty feeling (both financial and in my case, stash wise as well). Having a plan to work on the stash during certain months and then use the strategy of buying fabric only during other months has really helped me so much! I’m here for any encouragement if you ever have need of it, Brooke! Hope you have a great new week ahead! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
What gorgeous fabrics! I especially love the Chevron floral sweater knit. I can hardly wait to see that turned into something for you. I haven't been buying any fabric, but I just yesterday accumulated an elderly friend's entire quilting cotton and batting stash as she is no longer well enough to quilt. I will definitely try my hand at quilting some of it, but some is earmarked for project dress a girl dresses, and then some will be used in bags, and maybe even the odd bit of clothing. So exciting!
Hello, Linda! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing with me! Wow! That is amazing to receive someone’s stash! And it’s so great that it’s come to you, someone who will appreciate it so much more as opposed to it being donated or even thrown away. I hope you get many hours of enjoyment from her beloved stash 🥰 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Very nice Fabric, I ordered some Lycra from Fabric Mart and am waiting for it to show up. One is a bright green I will be making a bodysuit for my grand daughter Frankenwitch Halloween costume. She wants a frankenstein and a witch combined.....KIDS.
Hello, Brenda! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your fabric purchase with me! Haha, that is awesome! Kids’ imaginations are amazing! This reminds me that I need to be looking forward to Halloween, as well 😬 Thanks for the inspiration, Brenda! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Beautiful fabric haul. I use to sew clothing and haven’t in many years! Would like to get back into it. The blue chevron is gorgeous. Can’t wait to see what you make with it. I’m being ambitious this next month making a quilt for a charity event!
Beautiful fabrics Tiffany. I have the same unicorn fabric in my stash :D got it from Alisa. It's waiting for inspiration :) I.e. for Alice to decide what she wants with it 😊
Hello, Agata! Thank you so much for watching! Aw, so neat that you have the unicorn fabric too! It is so cute! Hope you have a great day, Agata! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I love the Olga’s closet fabric! Thanks for sharing this beautiful fabric haul. I bought some Disney knit fabric for a t-shirt from Joann’s Licensed fabric ( 50% off!) Can’t wait to sew it up. Have a blessed day!
Hello, Lola! Thank you so much for watching and for such a kind comment! I loved hearing about the Disney knit fabric you recently got! What a cute t shirt it’ll be! I hope you have a wonderful new week ahead, Lola! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
How lucky you are t get such good discounts. The fabrics are lovely and I’m sure you will enjoy making them up. But I don’t like the talk of Fall. We have had such a poor summer so I’m not ready for Fall. I have recently found some lovely fabrics to n a shop in town which doesn’t have very many. I got a pretty Broderie Anglais which I want to make and not a blouse. And I also got a summer viscose, perhaps for a summer dress for next ear. Then I went n a trip to Lincoln, where there is a very nice little fabric shop. There a bought some lovely plain cotton for a skirt and the end of a bot of viscose. At the moment I’m making some light weight, wide leg summer trousers, hopefully for my holiday next week. Have a good time sewing everything this week.
Hello, Ann! Thank you so much for watching! Haha, yes, hold on to that summer feeling as long as you can! All of your fabric purchases sound amazing! Thank you for sharing with me! I hope you have a wonderful upcoming vacation, Ann! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
You got some nice things that you will have fun sewing - a new idea or pattern or fabric and we are enthusiastic again to get started! I don't "need" to buy fabric 🙄 if you know what I mean, but a few weeks ago I got a gorgeous dark green stretch plush velour at Joann that is cozy on both sides and was actually able to use the 60% off coupon on it, so it was meant to be, right 😄?!? Our house is cold in the winter and I just knew I could make something easy that would make me feel a little better about the cold weather to come 🥶!
Hello, Mary! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing with me! Oooo, that velour sounds sooo cozy for Fall and Winter! And you got a great deal at the same time, haha, what more could we ask for? 🥰 Hope you have a wonderful new week ahead, Mary! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Hi Tiffany! Checking in, it’s been awhile. Nice charcoal sweater knit. I love the cute fox and unicorn fabrics. I made a white shirt and used part of a quilt panel on the back. I have quilt fabric galore near me so that’s what I use😊 In my stash, it’s a different story. I have some nice things I’ve purchased from independent fabric stores. I think my fav is Textile Fabrics in Nashville. Do you have independently owned fashion fabric stores near Indianapolis?
Hello, Cheryl! So good to hear from you! Thank you so much for watching! I need to get caught up on watching all the videos I need to watch, I would love to see your white shirt with the quilt panel, what a great idea! There is a fabric store in Indy, it’s called The French Seam. They sell quilting and fashion fabrics as well as a lot of hard copy Indie patterns. It’s a very nice store. I did a video about it back in the winter, if you want a preview before you visit. They also have a really nice online store. Thanks so much for catching up with me, Cheryl! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Hello, Emma! Thank you so much for watching! I completely understand! It can be a two edged sword 🙈 Thanks for sharing with me, Emma! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I get a lot of fabric from Fabric Mart. I have been getting notices that they are changing their website and today they launched it. I am very upset. If you go to a category, you are met with prices around $25+ per yard. Only a few sales item and no daily sales such as challis $4.99 a yard with regular prices under $10. Thank goodness I bought a lot of fabric on sale this year, but I guess the site is going in a different direction. You mentioned expecting an order so I thought I'd mention this. I hope everything has not been permantly b/c they were a popular source for quality fabrics at reasonable prices.
Hello, Kathleen! Thank you so much for watching! You definitely piqued my Interest about Fabric Mart! I’d seen that they were rolling out a new website. I nosed around and you’re correct, the pricing is shocking! They did release a statement yesterday that said there were still changes to be made on the website. They assured us that the pricing didn’t change, the sale price just isn’t showing up as it usually does. They’re working to get that fixed, hopefully. I understand your frustration though, Kathleen, hopefully we’ll just have to give them a little bit to work out the kinks and we’ll have the Fabric Mart we know and love back! Thanks for chatting with me, Kathleen! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Beautiful fabric.
