    I used to do the same scaling "mistakes." I like the intro and setup for this battle. The interesting this is that with the mobility disparity, those warg riders should have been able to make more hit and run style attacks, though that would have been a much longer slog to play through due to chainmail's fatigue rules.

      My understanding was that the riders could not break off once engaged save for a morale break.

      @@BanditsKeepActualPlay If they are victorious in the first round of melee they can carry out the rest of the charge move. Same thing if the enemy fails its morale check when being charged. The next turn the wargs would not be able to charge again, but could continue to move away then circle around. If you get stuck with a melee continues result from the post melee check, it's a ruling at the table whether you could win initiative and then move away during the movement segment and whether doing so would allow an "attack of opportunity" on the back.
