What a year! There’s definitely a few that I missed that I really want to play. Reply with your favorite that I didn’t get around to and I’ll make a review of the top comment. Let’s play even more in 2025! 🎉
It was so so good. I love when a game surprises me. I grew up on the sands of time trilogy so I thought it was going to be an unimpressive reimagining that wasn’t going to work half as well as it did. But that gameplay, those bosses, that level design… chefs kiss. Glad you enjoyed it too!
Astrobot is on my list of games to play this year. But from what I've seen, it looks just like a typical 3D platformer with little to no innovation and mechanics from the old Mario games. Is it really that good?
@@EasyMoney_SniperRIt really is! It could have been a bit more innovative sure, but I think one of the major things that sets it apart is what it does with the hardware. It makes the best use of all the functions of the dualsense of anything I’ve seen. Just feels right to play, which is hard to describe until you’ve got the game in your hands. The boss fights are really well designed and take advantage of some pretty unique power ups, and the levels where you play as robot versions of some of the big hitters of PlayStation are really unique in their own right

Not counting the ER DLC. Prince of Persia is my GOTY 2024 and it's my favorite metroidvania ever, I'm glad someone else appreciates it too.

0:41 same i wanted to like it so bad
It was close to being good which is why it’s frustrating! Like, the ingredients were there, it just didn’t feel good
I REALLY agree with this list.
Great list! Guess I gotta check out Silent Hill and Astto Bot
Stellar Blade made weebs of us all, it’s okay. And I’m with you, Astrobot was a 10/10!
