Tangled Coati Rescued From Treetop

I've rescued close to 200 cats from trees, but getting a call to rescue a tropical coatimundi was a first for me! Coatis live in warm climates in Central and South America. They are related to raccoons and they love to climb trees.
This particular coati name Vega was climbing a tree with his leash still on and got his leash tangled around a branch. He had been stuck since 10am that day and it was forecasted to get below freezing that night. Coati live in the tropics and are not used to freezing temps so Vegas family was pretty keen to get him down ASAP - hence the night time rescue.
