No mate, he was an incredible singer in the early days. I last saw him live around 97/98 and he’d def lost it by then, certainly had on that day anyway!
If its top notch vocals you want then theres thousands of arists to choose from, Ian Brown, Ian Curtis, and Johnny Rotten cant sing but there all legends in there own right,
erm , Ian Curites could sing and so can Johnny . I think when you can't sing and you are in a band, its fine ..as its about the whole thing. If you rock up and sing to karaoke, you need to sing ..not stand there dancing like a mental old man , singing badly . I say this as a HUGE Ian brown and Roses fan
