It really highlights how much Mani, Reni and Squire were what made The Roses special. It sounds like a wedding band. It isn't bad - it's just so plastic and soulless.
wow his backing band are TOTALLY on target here! what a brilliant version of this classic. I've seen so many videos of Ian's solo live shows, and usually the band kinda drops the ball---and so do Ian's vocals (LOL) but in this one everything is right on electric!
@@Julian-re7rk it’s Ian’s song not Liam’s , and my ‘sally cinnamon ‘ is my world ! Cheesy as it sounds I played this to her on a third date in 1992 and she’s still ‘my world’ and yes she’s called sally ❤️
Until Sally I was never happy I needed so much more Rain clouds oh, they used to chase me Down they would pour Join my tears Allay my fears Sent to me from heaven Sally Cinnamon you're my world Advertisement Pop, pop, pop, blow, blow bubble gum You taste of cherryade There is something hey you must show me From what you are made Sugar and spice And all things nice Sent to me from heaven Sally Cinnamon you're my world You are my world Your eyes are gazing back From every little piece of glass You seem to smile from every blade Sally Cinnamon you are my world Then I put the letter back In the place where it was found In the pocket of a jacket On a train in town Sent to her from heaven Sally Cinnamon you're her world
Probably the best I've heard Ian sing live. Wonderful.
his best live song he’s done was sugar spun sister in blackpool in 1989, not that either of these are great vocals 😅
Easy song to sing is the reason😂
True enough he usually is not
The most incredible here its Ian surround of brilliant musicians. Sound like studio album😮👏
Really solid live performance!
@The Black Painter & Decorator cheer up mate
smile on me dial!! sugar and spice............and all things nice....sent me to me from heaven.... drums, guitar, Ian singing!!! Mean!!!

Ian Brown is one of the greats. I love his cover of Michael Jackson's 'Earth Song'.

@@calmac7287yes! Fantastic performances from both.
He sounds great but the auto tune is so obvious. He’s never sounded so in-key
