Pioneers of Winemaking in Alto Adige - Paolo Foradori / Wine-growing estate Hofstätter

Paolo Foradori is one of the great pioneers of Südtirol/Alto Adige Wines. It was love that brought the native from Trentino to Tramin in Alto Adige. Together with his wife, the passionate winemaker has popularised the Hofstätter winery, the Pinot Nero and the Gewürztraminer throughout Italy since the late fifties.
This film portrait, presented by the Consortium Alto Adige Wines, documents Paolo Foradori's great commitment. With wit and charm, it shows how he has succeeded in bringing Alto Adige Wines to the tables of the best restaurants, far beyond the borders of Italy.
