  • Today i remove the dashboard and heater matrix to gain access to replace the interior wiring loom for the top spec loom.
On removal i find the 2 water leaks from the windscreen blocks and seal which i will investigate. I also remove everything from the bulkhead to install soundproofing.

Done this now probably half a dozen times. Got it down to around 30 mins to take out and an hour to put back (cos you can guarantee you have got wiring in the wrong place or forgot one of the connectors 😂😂😂)

Persistance i think is the coreect word. Apsolute pain. Remove the rubber bung as it helps very slightly Put the top through the bulkhead and push up and forward till it goes in. I ise a prybar and a flat bit of wood so i dont break anything.

Thank you. I did a wiper switch today on a customers. I would say around 30-45 mins to get the dash out if youve not done one before.
